Beluga Lake Lodge

The staff in the evening was not the nicest but that's fine, in the morning though they were both extremely nice. Clearly the hotel and rooms is very old and could use some renovation, but it's still fine honestly! I feel the price is not justified though. Large parking lot and free coffee/tea 24/7

Positive: Location Negative: Back door was unlocked and open every night. Bar was over top of our room and could hear it all night. Place smelled like weed constantly. Place could use a major renovation.

Didn’t stay at the hotel but had an amazing dinner at the lodge overlooking beluga lake. Great deck to take in the sights and float planes!||Chef is from Hawaii and has some amazing dishes!! Everything from fresh Salmon poke to amazing mixed plates…||Also have standard burgers and sandos||Highly recommended!!

Owned and run by a very nice family, very friendly and caring. The building is worn, but comfortable and has everything you need at an extremely reasonable rate. There's a good sized closet with hangers, an iron and suitcase stand. A large sink area with a wall mounted blow dryer, complimentary soaps, lotions and shower gels and gorgeous local wildlife pictures. It was extremely quiet during my stay. I did not visit the bar/restaurant, but heard that it's very good. The location is convenient, not far from either the Homer Spit and downtown Homer.

Never ever seen this kind of hotel room. This hotel is very old. No A/c or heater pesent. The person/owner in the reception is very rude. The room smells very bad. The price is also so high. When I booked the room from hotwire, it said the hotel chooses the bed type. They gave me a queen bed. When i asked to upgrade to 2 queens, they literally asked me to pay more than double for what I booked the room for. Hotwire should remove this room from listing.

Positive: "" Negative: Ceiling falling in, room doors didn?t close, screaming children, and very foul odor throughout hotel and rooms were even worse. Left and booked another hotel 10 minutes after arriving. Definitely not a 3 star hotel as listed.

Horrendous service. Got locked out of my room and had to sleep in my car because there was no one at the desk overnight. Lots of addicts staying here including the staff. Only positive was the general manager was very nice and she gave me my money back for 2 nights. Avoid.

The lodge has a great location, right before hitting the spit. The rooms were clean and had great amenities: fridge, microwave, TV and great water pressure. We showed up before check in but they were very accommodating as we needed a room to get ready for a wedding that started at the regular check in time.
