NillI love the Silverbow. It is not a 4 seasons but it is comfortable and has a GREAT coffee maker. The staff is wonderful. The beds are VERY comfortable and I love the snacks and other things in the little lobby kitchen. Quick walk up the hill to the capitol building. I have Stayed at the Silverbow a couple times now and intend to stay there again.

NillI absolutely LOVE the Silverbow. Stay there with the understanding that this is NOT a hotel. It's an old building, full of charm. No elevator, so don't be a jerk about it. It's a small Inn, so no overnight front desk. Don't be a jerk about it. The rooms are so fun, with custom interior design and quirky sense of humor. The location is perfect. The breakfast options (self serve in winter) are on pointe. You can store your bags. The hot tubs are clean, and wonderful. There are cute fluffy robes to wear up there. And the location right downtown is excellent! Basically, they've got this operation down pat, and it's a pleasure to stay here. I love it so much.

★★★★Stayed 3 nights in a one-bedroom king room, which I chose because I wanted a room with a kitchenette. The hotel is in a great location, and it has just about every feature you could ask for -- breakfast, espresso, hot tubs (with sign-in sheets to easily reserve private use), smart tvs, blackout shades, self check-in, laundry, nice toiletries. All the staff I interacted with were great as well, and I appreciated the ability to text quick questions. The imperfect things were the price, limited parking, no elevator, and some of the design details in the room were kind of cheap looking (sorry! nothing bad, just think more like a decent "flip" rather than a high-end renovation). I would definitely stay here again if wanting to be downtown.

NillGreat place to stay. I was upgraded to the presidential suite and it was awesome. The staff was awesome to work with, had fresh scones every morning to go with coffee. Great location. Close to restaurants and shopping. It was the off season so town was not that busy and a lot of the shopping was closed down.

★★★★★What a lovely stay in downtown Juneau. We were there for a wedding, and the staff acknowledged that and our role in the wedding and really helped us to enjoy the stay.! Great breakfast bar in the morning with a wide variety, centrally located, and, over the years, we have watched as the Silverbow has grown into the great and yet modest hotel that it is today. Great work!

★★★★We stayed at the Silver Bow Inn which is in a great downtown location that we found to be in close walking distance to everything. The building is 100 years old which is very old for Juneau. As a result, the rooms are small and each one seems to be decorated and laid out differently. While small, they are well stocked, little shelves and hooks tucked in everywhere, including drawers that pull out from under the bed. The staff was available from early in the am to 10 am at night and they were very accommodating, even getting me a spot remover when I needed it. The lobby is small but cozy and there are drinks, snacks, and chocolate chip cookies available at all times of day. I thought the serve yourself breakfast was well done. There were cold cereal, eggs, cheeses, yogurt, and English muffins available as well as pop tarts. Juneau accommodations are very expensive. Our room was $700 a night (including taxes and a $20 a day amenity fee) and, while it was a fun quirky place to stay, it wasn’t high end.

NillSmall, cold rooms. Priced like a fancy hotel but gives motel vibes. Walls so thin you can hear your neighbor's every movement. Staff were nowhere to be seen when I arrived at 8pm. Premium price with no service.

NillThanks for a wonderful stay in Juneau! Excellent location and exceptionally helpful staff. Heather went above and beyond to help us, including adding an additional reservation at the last minute and walking to the post office to ship a lost item by hand. Such kindness!! The rooftop hot tubs overlooking the harbor are idyllic. Lots of thoughtful touches like snuggly robes, higher-end blankets, and coffee/snacks available 24/7. Heather sat and talked with my teenage daughter with a map of Juneau and highlighted all of her top recommendations. Such kindness! And the recommendations were spot on. I can’t say enough good things about our stay. There are a couple minor drawbacks. There is no elevator. It’s a historic building so obviously elevators weren’t part of the original plan. It’s quite expensive, but everything in Juneau is high. I thought it was a good value, all things considered. Many thanks to the Silverbow Inn!
