NillWe had a stop over in King Salmon and were treated to a very comfortable cabin. The room was spacious, clean and appointed nicely. The coffee maker made us happy as well. The open shared area was nice place to sit and enjoy the sunset. We were unsure of how the heat worked, we made a call at 8:30 and somebody stopped by at 9:00-fantastic service for small town faclility. The price is quite fair considering the tight season. Ask the manager what is open for food and what is closed as things can change quickly in Kink Salmon. The only slight negative is that their tap water has a "taste" that can be covered by crysal light or you can use bottled water. I know we would stay there again on our trip to Katmai.

NillStayed in the cabins across the street in late September. Clean, comfortable and fast wifi, which was appreciated in an area with no service otherwise. Great location - next to two restaurants, walking distance to the airport, and grocery store is in the same area. Best place to stay if you don't want a full fishing lodge.

★★★★We flew into King Salmon in order to visit Katmai. Quick overnight…Antlers Inn was perfect, clean, comfortable, and helpful. Even though a quick walk to everything in King Salmon, they were kind enough to get us from Airport so we didn’t need to haul heavy bags. They also were kind enough to store our bags while we went on our water taxi for the day at Katmai. I would have given them a five, except want to set an expectation that this is a motel and a little dated, but given a remote location; service and cleanliness is why we stayed and would stay again!

★★★★We recently stayed at the Sockeye Cabins (sister property of Antlers Inn across the street) for 4 nights while visiting Brooks Falls. The cabin was clean, tidy, and well-equipped. We found the kitchenette very useful (dining options in King Salmon are pretty limited and very expensive). The staff was very friendly and helpful but you do need to walk across the street to get to the office. I appreciated the shuttle to the airport. It's very close by but dragging suitcases through parking lots is never fun.|The hotel has a good location right in the heart of King Salmon with the airport, grocery store, bank, 2 restaurants and a food truck all within a block. This made for easy access to everything but added a little bit of noise. Our cabin, #14, was in the back, very close to the airport and its noisy planes and machinery. The King Salmon airport isn't that busy but I noticed it a few times. Overall this is a great choice in a place without lots of options.

★★★★I would have given it an extra star, but for the high price (seems to be a king salmon thing).||I stayed in Sockeye Cabins (I think #10), and it was sooo much nicer than the photos (they really need new photos because it's lovely). It's a relatively new refurb, and the cabin was new and modern inside. There's even a wardrobe to hang things. Once I realised the gas heater was controlled by the wall thermostat, it was also warm.||Do be aware (before you arrive) that there is nothing around here open early morning (pre 8am) for coffee or breakfast. The cabin had paper cups, a fridge, and a microwave, but bring your own bowl or plate if you want to make cereal or something. There was a Mr Coffee and some coffee to put in it, but no filter paper, which google told me was required to be able to use that. ||Also, be aware the area is absolutely swarming with mosquitos (July). Spray some strong deet before you open the door to stop them getting in the room. I dashed in while waving my arms, but 3 still zipped in with me. The local supermarket and the shop at bears falls lodge sell face nets, and they're not a bad idea if you're going to be spending time outside. ||I was roaming in Alaska on AT&T, but had zero signal at any time out in King Salmon. The wifi at the cabins and Sockeye saloon was strong though.

★★★★★Very nice cabin with excellent access to the airport and the restaurant. Comfy and clean accommodations. Would definitely book again if we find ourselves in the area. We had a great stay. Owner was very helpful with all logistics. Thanks very much!

★★★★We stayed in a Sockeye Cabin. Basic quality, but the cabin was fitted out nicely with everything you need and was very clean. The window screens kept out bugs (very important). The location near the airport, Sockeye Saloon and grocery store was very convenient. My only complaint was the mattress-it was a tiny torture device. No padding and each metal spring dug in every night.

NillGreat little cabin to spend the night while waiting for our flight to Brooks Falls. They were clean and comfortable, although the bunk bed was squeaky whenever you shifted positions. The office is across the road, which was a little confusing at first.
