We stayed here three times over the summer of 2022 and we loved it. Once in the main house, and twice in different cabins. The place was amazing. The amount of care that has been put into all the little details were too numerous to recall (q-tips in the bathroom, killer snacks in each room, assorted coffees to choose from, a very well equipped kitchen, bug spray, bear spray, electronic fly swatters, regular fly swatters, mosquito coils, to list but a few) And so many GORGEOUS paintings all over the place! So bright and cheerful, I just loved them. So the wifi was kinda slow. It’s an area that doesn’t have fibre optics, not a sprawling metropolis. So go outside and watch the deer. Or use one of the barbecues for dinner. Or play hide and seek in the surrounding forest. Or admire the lovely flower gardens. Quiet. Private. A real gem.

We stayed at the Bears Den for one night and we wished we could’ve stayed longer! The suite is really big and includes a small private kitchen and living room. It was -40°c when we stayed here and it was warm inside. Our car didn’t start in the morning and Donetta was super accommodating and a great help! She answered super fast to our email.

It was very easy to find our room. The owner tries to keep the communication contact-less as possible so you can do whatever you need to do without interruption. However, they will still help you out if you need to contact them for anything. I would recommend Fox 'n Fireweed Cabins to anyone who is looking for a relaxing experience with family. Your pets are also allowed, which was a big plus for us because we are a military family, and we were moving to a new duty station (Alaska).

Great price. Great location. Owner very responsive. I got the Lion's Den room for 1 overnight stay. It is the master room in the main house. It had it's own private restroom. It was super easy to rent the space online and within minutes I was emailed the door code for entry. It is dog friendly with an added $25 fee. There are also cabins on site to rent as well. That was my first experience with a shared location like that and I felt safe.

Very nice cabins in the wood! The cabins are equipped with a table and chairs, small fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Outside there is also a bbq. The common room also has a big kitchen with many amenities, 2 big dining tables and a large living room/lounge area. They also provide many snacks/breakfast options. Also it was very nice that the cabins were off the main road, really enjoyed the quiet time. Would definitely recommend staying there!

LOVED this cabin(Trapper's Cabin)! I would stay there again in a heartbeat. It was in a beautiful place, in the spruce trees, had a porch with chairs we sat out on & had coffee in the morning. There is a BBQ, coffee maker, snacks, and was very clean. 10/10

Wow! These are really cute cabins. The art around the place was a wonderful surprise and we loved the option to buy some of the pieces, although the ones I wanted weren't for sale. Beautiful and cozy! Comes with a little grill we wish we had known about that would be perfect for a little BBQ. The beds were so comfortable and the blankets so soft! There was only a standing shower but the bathroom was so spacious and relaxing after cramped hotel bathrooms. Towels were wonderfully soft and absorbent. Very clean with generous amenities for an easy breakfast. Three Bears (an Alaskan grocery store) isn't too far away if someone needs more things as well. Completely recommend this as a rest stop or a little getaway if you want the cabin camping experience with modern amenities. Also we went in spring and were happy there weren't as many mosquitoes in the area as anticipated, but if you're alaskan you know what to expect if your not familiar make sure to bring repellant or dryer sheets.

My wife and I stayed one night in the Wolf room in the main house and were very pleased. This is a very quiet place. We were very pleased, and I would definitely recommend Fox ‘n Fireweed for any traveler needing an overnight stay in Tok. And the food from nearby Fast Eddy’s is quite good too.
