NillMy review was more about the waiter Andrew Car than the restaurant. We were in the bar and he was most accommodating. We had a birthday celebration and it was a very nice experience. He catered to us above and beyond. We took a cake and he refrigerated it for us and brought us plates and silverware and took pictures of us for us and was so sweet. We love him. The food was good but I wouldn't go back just for the food. I would go back for the service. It was beyond spectacular. Thank you so much Andrew. You are truly the best server I have ever had. And I'm old. Lol

NillThis resort has been the location for a "Spring training" for our boy's lacrosse team for many years. We spend 5-6 days here preparing for the start of our lacrosse season. They have been very accommodating to our needs in supporting 25+ individuals with buffet meals and hotel stay. They prepare a soccer field with lacrosse dimensions and help us rent out locker room space for the week. The remote location is very good for us, to keep our focus towards training. Every year has been a great stay for our boys at the Francisco Grande resort.

NillLoved the location and was nice to revisit a place I frequented as a child. Rooms are outdated but cozy. Low water pressure and old shower fixture. TV also was not mounted and located in an odd spot close to the floor. Weird design for modern families. No complimentary breakfast. A little TLC and this could be the best place to stay in Pinal County.

NillGolf review : An Absolute Disaster of a Golf Course I have no idea how this place is still in business. The grass conditions were beyond horrific—huge patches of grass completely missing, like they just gave up trying to maintain it. Gopher holes everywhere, so watch your step unless you want a twisted ankle. The tee boxes? Is that what those were? Uneven, lumpy, and basically just dirt. At certain points, the whole course looked completely abandoned. And for $65 after 12:30? Good lord. I wouldn’t pay $10 to play here. Spend your money literally anywhere else. I have literally played dozens of golf courses all over the valley from Apache Junction all the way to Sun City North, and I've never come across a golf course that looked as bad and played as bad as this one. It was an embarrassment to even bring anybody to it. Spend your money elsewhere. That's what Google reviews are for. To save you from wasting your time and money.

NillThe room was clean. The bed dips. Made for an uncomfortable night. The pocket door to the bathroom needed serious oil. The slider to the deck wouldn't lock, so the wind really whistled through it and worked its way open durning our second night there. The restaurant staff and food were really good

NillThey don't offer any complimentary breakfast, not even coffee. The restaurant doesn't open until 07:00 am. The rooms are very dated. Not even close to being a resort. My room was chilly and the heater didn't work. The golf course is in terrible condition. I am a greenskeeper at a course in Colorado and our worse public course is in better condition.

NillI was here for the first time back on 3-9-2009. I was checking out a place to live in Casa Grande AZ. This is a beautiful hotel. A lot of history with John Wayne. He stayed there a lot, I guess, when he was filming.
