I came into for a competitive cheer competition and this is the hotel that was recommend my family to stay at. The location of the restaurant ideal for those who want a variety of food options but the hotel is located across the street from ASU. The building doesn’t look fancy on the outside and the decor could be better. The rooms are decent. But have some type of plumbing issue. Literally in the middle of a shower the pipes started screaming. This happen two days in a row. On my last night at the hotel the handle for the shower broke off and had to be moved to a new room. The restaurant offers happy hour and has great daily specials but the food is mediocre and not worth the money. In addition to the limited array of items to choose. Parking is easy but there is a daily parking fee. Probably will not stay at this property again. Although it’s a Hilton, I don’t feel as if I got the usual Hilton experience. The pool Is fairly small.

The rooms are adorable and the whole hotel has a vibe of its own! Loved my stay here, for sure splurge for the room with a patio it’s so cute. The view was excellent and the weather was perfect for May in Arizona (cooler than normal). Rebecca at the front desk was AMAZING! She was super friendly and I had a mishap with my room key, Rebecca helped me right away and assisted me. She asked if I needed anything else and I couldn’t have asked for a kinder interaction. I was not having a great day after work and her genuinely friendly attitude put me in a better mood. Great customer service and handled my key issue immediately. 10/10 stay!

My overall check in and first experience of this hotel was great! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful especially for having arrived very late in the night. The hotel and room somewhat met the high standard of what I thought I was paying for being clean and tidy but smaller than what I expected from looking at pictures on the website. I booked a king bed room for two adults but yet there was only enough towels for one person. I stay in hotels frequently for work and am signed up as a Hilton member but yet when we arrived, checked in, & parked we still were expected to scan the QR code to pay for parking ($4.50 for an hour or $15 for a day). I graduated from the University of Arizona in Tucson (BearDown) within the last few years which they have a graduate hotel there as well. I will say I am more impressed with the graduate hotel in Tucson than I am with the graduate hotel here in Tempe. I believe, being a Hilton member, I should not have to pay for parking nor go searching for extra towels when I specifically booked the room for two adults. The graduate hotel here in Tempe seems to be an older facility that needs renovations and TLC (touch, love, care); for example the room I stayed in didn’t have the thermostat to control the temp of the room on the wall like normal hotel rooms. We have to physically go over to the mini split unit to adjust the temp of the room. I am just overall disappointed, taking all aspects into consideration, with the graduate here in Tempe especially being a Hilton hotel. I’ve stayed at the graduate in Tucson and had an outstanding experience. For the price point, this hotel isn’t worth it.

Stayed for five nights, never had my room cleaned. Every night had to go to front desk to get clean towels. Rooms are very small, about the size of the king-size bed. Hotel is an old Ramada, carpets in room were old and bunched up in several places, definitely a tripping hazard. I requested my room to be cleaned everyday. The front desk was apologetic and said they would get it taken care of it...BUT there is something broken in their process. Good Luck if you have to stay there.

This was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had. It’s located right next to a university, so everything around it is overpriced—including the hotel itself. Even after paying a steep rate, you’re still expected to pay for parking, which is ridiculous. For how much it costs, you’d think the hotel would be at least halfway decent, but it’s the opposite. The decor made it feel like an elderly landlord with no taste went wild—full of random pieces that looked like they belonged in a hoarder’s collection, just scattered around without purpose. It wasn’t cluttered, but the items they chose gave off that same energy. It also looked like a cheap landlord’s paint job trick—painted over vents, the fire extinguisher cabinet, wall fixtures, everything. No attention to detail, just a lazy attempt to make it “look new.” The place smelled musty and felt hot and stuffy. The food was terrible. The only decent part of the stay was the pool. Our room was uncomfortable, the bathroom was dirty when we arrived, and there was no laundry hamper. They only provided one roll of toilet paper, and getting a replacement was a hassle. Worst of all, the shower faucet fell off with a light touch—it looked like it had already been broken and was just slapped back into place. I highly recommend staying somewhere else. This place was a major letdown.

The reason we booked this hotel is because my wife wanted to stay in the same hotel as her family. I agreed, but only for our last night of the trip. The location is good if you want to be central to the stores and campus. Unfortunately we were spoiled from my hotel of choice the previous few days. This hotel really feels like a money grab. You pay for parking, no huge deal, but the room was small and the garden view title is a bit of a stretch, it was more like an alley view. We joined some family down by the pool and they mentioned there were no towels and they told front desk twice already. I went a third time. They eventually were brought to our rooms (yes we walked to our rooms wet) We went through expedia and paid for breakfast for each of us. Wife went down to ask about it and was told to order and it be billed to the room. The Expedia agent got through to the front desk and told us they had our “vouchers”: Wife went down and sure enough, there were 2 cards with $15 on each. I wondered why they weren’t given in the first place. Your choices were between items like an avocado on bagel, a yogurt parfait, a few other small items and a list of coffees- With my voucher I got the parfait and a macchiato which was decent- I was expecting a full service meal for the price. I promised my wife this review is the last time I’d rub in how much better my choice was: The hotel we just left in Happy Valley was 20-30% less, the room had a jacuzzi, there were free delicious breakfast and dinners! Even though we don’t drink we were given 3 free alcoholic drinks per person, per night! there was even a popcorn maker in the front lobby! I’ve said my piece, choose wisely dear readers.

First time staying at a Graduate! The service was more than OUTSTANDING by everyone at this hotel. A lot of the team members attend ASU and are just so hospitalable! Great job to the General Manager for being a great leader to these team members because every single one of them said they love working here and their team too! Big thank you to the following for making the stay memorable: Rebecca- THE BEST! Guest Services Rep), Edsel (Guest Services Rep), Annabella, Brooke, & Maddie (Restaurant)! Great location, awesome staff, and loved everything about this hotel!

We have stayed here a half dozen or so times!!! From day one…pool heater never worked!!!! Hilton buys the place and “STILL” no heated pool or hot tub. Hot tubs are supposed to be HOT right? Turns out heater will be fixed tomorrow….hahahaha!!! Like free beer tomorrow…come on now!!! Now you have to pay $15 a day to park when it cost NOTHING six months ago. Hilton you really screwed the pooch on this one!!! Is this a franchise now? Shady at best for what was $50 cheaper back not long ago!!
