Wow! My daughter & I loved this place! We had so much fun during our stay and this place was a major part of that! Extremely comfortable stay, great staff! Super friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to stay here again! Easy access to so many fun spots. My daughter and I felt safe, cozy, and secure our entire stay! Thank you so much!

If you want a real review then read mine. I was super skeptical about booking my stay here. An overwhelming amount of bad reviews...... those reviews are by people that decided they were going to book the cheapest place and expect 4 or 5 star hotel service..... this place has clean rooms (yea you might see some damage here or there) they accept pets!!!! a pool a jacuzzi, night time security guard. A lot of people were saying non stop train noises but I've been here all day and night and literally haven't heard anything. The girls at the front desk will treat you with respect and do a great job. Come complaining left and right and your obviously not getting that service which is your fault..... best bang for your buck guaranteed

If you just want a bed and don't care about anything else it'll work. The place is dirty, dog mess and butts all over the grounds, not once in 4 days did room service every attempt to take care of things. Blood on the walls, Train runs right behind the building every hour. Homeless people all over the place. It's not worth the savings. I'll pay the extra and stay somewhere decent next time.

Hey! I haven’t even checked out and felt the need to give this place a review! I booked online through booking.com for less than $100 a night! It’s located in OLD TOWN! Now, I’m an Afro Latina Christian woman that’s pregnant and needed an affordable place to sleep last night and this was EXCEPTIONAL! Now the water comes out Luke warm but that’s the only problem I can think of! Well, there was this family with kids this morning checking out I think and the little white boy around 5/6 years old was running horse playing outside making some noise. I’m pregnant and I don’t like kids making noises but I walked out and didn’t see his parents just him playing with his action figures. Anyway, I recommend for I would say Caucasian families because I’m African American and Latina and we using like more Luxury accommodations . My beautiful ex wife helped me a lot with staying in a budget! Anyway! I thought I leave a review and the young men cleaners that are here have really great energy idk if there Dominican and the receptionist who I think is a native to Cali because she has a really strong pretty accent! Thanks guys ! Also, NO SMOKING in the rooms it’s a family friendly motel!

If negative ratings are allowed, this place deserves a negative 100. Don’t stay here. It is very very dirty, the sheets have clear spots of stains. see the pictures. The floors are dirty too. There is only one very thin sheet which is nothing to keep warm. When I asked if they have extra sheets, they only have one of the same thin sheet! No Wi-Fi unless pay additional $6. Broken air conditioner.

I would have given more stars if the service was better . . no towels when requested & they kept saying they ran out and I had to go by one myself. Rooms smell like smoke. Just overall not a good experience if you are in San Diego for the first time

Positive: Front desk night attendant very friendly (greeted me promptly), helpful (directed me to my room), knowledgeable (offered choice of upstairs or downstairs smoking). Negative: Phoned front desk 10:15 a.m. rang 5 minutes went dead. Phoned again rang 10 minutes picked up then set down. Endured listening to female 15 minutes of warm, intimate conversation with another female about personal life experiences, etc then phone hung-up.

Positive: Friendly staff. Negative: Outside was filthy. Laundry room was filthy. People don't clean up after themselves. Homeless everywhere. Unsafe vibe. Looks like a migrant shelter. They throw their garbage on the ground. They left the laundry room filthy with food. Terrible experience.
