Travelodge by Wyndham San Diego SeaWorld

This little hotel is very good for its overall, pricing, good location and affordability in an expensive city like San Diego. My room was very clean and equipped with all amenities, TV, microwave and nice size refrigerator and free wireless. I go to vegas at least twice within three months and it is my ideal go to place while i stay there for few days. The only thing i wish can change is the mattress, but it is still good to sleep on. The manager on site, Mr Patel is truly a very nice and accommodating person. He will help you truly as long as it can be done.

This is a good location if you are looking for a budget hotel/motel. The rooms are good and the service at the desk is too. We've stayed here twice, the first time was much better for some reason. We were on the 2nd floor the first time and the room was clean and nice, but when we stayed this last time the ground floor room wasn't as nice. The bed squeaked every time you made the slightest movement, the bathroom had ants, and the sink smelled like sewage. I let the desk know and they said they'd have someone look into it. It was lacking this last time. I'd stay again as long as the room was cleaner and there wasn't an issue with the sink because the price is really good. We are two adults who go on vacation but we don't use our room a ton other than for sleeping and getting ready in the morning. If you're a traveler like that, it's a good option for you.

No breakfast but yet advertised on the online presence. Thanks for nothing. Previous people unplugged all the TV cable so staff was helpful with hooking it up. Shower water pressure is weak, I had to get on my knees because of how low the shower head is and I'm 5 9. Beds were sufficient and dual room temperature controls are nice. Only 1 large chair and no couch or table to eat at. Curtains don't block out the bright building lights in main rooms where 1 bed is, other room was dark. Stains on mattress sheets, gross!!! Ripped armrest plus had good and wrappers behind cushion on chair. Staff swapped broken microwave quickly. Probably won't stay here again but it's a place to rest near Marine Corps graduation.

No breakfast, eating area in rooms , stained sheets and thin walls. How would you like to wake up to no breakfast when online food is advertised. Good thing they're next to a shopping mall. Staff was helpful for other needs.||Good last resort stay if everything else is takes, better than sleeping in your car

Absolute WORST experience I have ever had with any establishment. Made reservations for my nieces graduation from the Marines for Oct 30-Nov 2 2024. Nothing was to be charged until check in per the company website and reservation confirmation. While flying from Missouri to San Diego, at our first layover I received an email stating my reservation had been canceled. I immediately called and was told they tried to charge my card, "just to make sure I was still coming" as was their policy on busy weekends, and my card declined ***because they had the incorrect info*** So I asked do you have any rooms still available, I was told no. First phone call ended. I went online, was able to make another reservation with the same credit card and tried calling back to make sure the hotel had the reservation and everything was good to go. No answer, at a business at 4pm . No answer for 30 minutes. I asked my husband to call from his number, finally an answer! My husband explained what was going on and that we had a new reservation, much to the clerks disbelief. My husband then asked why the card was charged before check in and if this was going to happen again, at which time he was hung up on. We then tried calling from both of our phones for almost an hour, with no answer EVER...in the meantime I made another reservation at a different establishment. The next morning we discovered they had done the exact same thing to my brother and canceled his reservation. His flights had been delayed and when he didn't check in they charged him for the first night and canceled the rest. Then offered him another room for twice the price. I plan to reach out to Wyndham directly, but traveler's beware. This place is shady and will take your money, cancel your reservation and then not answer your calls. GO ANY WHERE ELSE!!!!!!!

Did not get to stay here because my stay was cancelled on the day I arrived at San Diego. Tried calling the reception for assistance as I was out at the time and I was informed that my reservation was cancelled due to my card being declined. I promptly told them I just used the same credit card a few hours prior so that was not possible. Then I asked if it would be possible to make the same arrangements over the phone but told me the only option would be for me to make arrangements online. I thought this was ridiculous considering they had access to my prior reservation. I asked if there was anybody else available to help me and apparently there was no management available at 3pm on a Friday. Being stuck without for a weekend get away without any help was not ideal.

Positive: Closeness of location where I needed to be Negative: Yes many things I didn?t like including the toilet paper that was stuffed into holes in the wall. A mattress that didn?t fit and was springy and a handle for the shower that was not fastened and didn?t work properly. Which meant I took a very hot shower

Rooms where were decently clean but found somebody else's hair and other small things in that should have been cleaned before I got the room. Not just like a piece in the corner but actually on the counter, on the shower floor, and in front of the nightstand, ECT. Not a bad price and have stayed at worse places, but not a Windham quality place.
