Best Western Garden Inn

Is a very nice place to stay and relax. The inn is a spacious resort and has a very nice walkthrough garden. It has a pool which is a little warm so perfect for a swim day. It has a great view of the outside and the garden cafe has delicious food! I would definitely stay here when I come back next year!

This hotel offers clean and quiet rooms in a garden setting, off a busy commercial avenue. The on-site breakfast cafe is lovely. A great value with kind staff. Beds are comfortable, and the rooms are large.|The bathrooms are generous in size with walkin showers.

Staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean and well appointed. One consistent issue is understaffing by management, resulting in towels at the hot tub (basically every time I've stayed here). Just stop by the office to get some before you go there to avoid disappointment. 🤪

BE WARNED: As of March 17, 2025, and since at least March 2, their security cameras are not working, which they have decided is not necessary to disclose to the booking public. When I stayed here on March 2, my room was broken into and my luggage and backpack were stolen, along with those of my roommate. Among the thousands of dollars worth of belongings taken from me personally were items of significant sentimental value, including the shirt I wore on my wedding day and several gifts exchanged with my wife. Given that hotel rooms are generally booked with an expectation of security and privacy, it was both disheartening and frustrating to be told by the front desk that their security system was down, leaving any hope of tracking down the thieves completely thwarted. More infuriating were the conversations I had with Best Western corporate. They acknowledged no fault and, despite being a multi-million dollar company, refused to offer any form of compensation. It seems irrelevant to them that two people who trusted their property to provide a safe and secure space were left to suffer from significant emotional distress, a breach of privacy, and personal theft. They have decided that it is acceptable for their location to be ill-equipped to ensure security and not disclose it publicly; as a result, they feel justified in neither taking responsibility nor offering any form of compensation. The moral bankruptcy is both egregious and upsetting, and it should be enough to make anyone question staying at a Best Western ever again. Given how they have responded to this situation, I find any claims that they care about their customers to be empty and offensive. So yes, beware of staying at the Best Western Garden Inn located in Santa Rosa, CA, and please think twice before deciding that any Best Western location is worthy of your trust.

Don’t hesitate to book your stay especially if you have need for ADA accessible lodging. Their Double Queen room offers amply sized roll in shower, hard-surface floors and parking a few steps from your door. Not luxury, but property is clean, well maintained and the staff friendly and attentive. Be sure to make use of the cafe too! Nice, cooked to order menu options—prompt and friendly service - very reasonable pricing. During our trip to California, we were hotel hopping as we progressed North to South. Due to the room set up, we extended our stay at this hotel and day tripped around the area for an extra day.

This hotel has been the most restful and enjoyable stay in our month long road trip! Comfortable beds, updated and immaculately clean rooms, friendly staff, pool, jacuzzi, laundry-all nice and clean! They take good care of this place and you can tell. Walking distance to downtown. They have a security guard walking premises but the rooms are very tucked away from the street, so it is quiet and feels safe. Even the coffee in the room is decent! All for a reasonable price. Highly recommend.

Spacious clean rooms. Daily room service was very welcome and done early. Fast internet. Great location for city and wines. Close to essentials, grocery & gas. Easy access off freeway. Happily quite despite being near freeway. Rooms have small but efficient coffee maker, decent-sized small fridge, microwave.

Stayed twice. Carol checked us in and told us about their great restaurant. She wasn’t wrong. Lovely food and cheaper than Denny’s across the road. Staff lovely. Can do your own laundry which was great. We travelled numerous places for 6 weeks so that was great. Lovely room. We returned for 2 nights later in the month as we enjoyed it there. This was even a better room, right opposite the water fountain, so enjoyed watching the birds come and wash and drink. Even saw a humming bird. Very relaxing place. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again
