The Lloyd Stamford, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

I have stayed at the Lloyd several times in the last 6 months when I had surgery and follow up visits at HSS in Stamford. The rooms have always been clean and well appointed. The front desk has always been friendly and helpful. The valet service was quick and had a friendly smile in the morning rush. Plus the morning breakfast and lounge area was comforting and the food and drink excellent. At a time of high personal stress, The Lloyd was like a second home comforting and relaxing. Plus a great location right by a favorite Italian restaurant. Thanks for all the service and help. Love the Lloyd shirts- a nice touch for the associates. Wish I had one!

flew into town for some graduation celebrations and wanted to stay somewhere local that would give me easy access to everything—and The Lloyd was the perfect choice. The last time I lived in Stamford, this building was the Boys & Girls Club, so walking in and seeing how much it’s transformed was truly a wow moment. So much has changed, and in the best way possible. The hotel is absolutely beautiful—trendy, inviting, and incredibly comfortable from the moment you step in. I had a wonderful experience and am especially grateful to Kenya for being so kind and accommodating with an early check-in, which made a big difference after my flight. The rooms are very modern, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. While there isn’t closet space, they do provide plenty of hooks with hangers, which worked well for a short stay. I do wish they had an iron (they only had a steamer), as I personally prefer ironing—but that’s a small detail in the big picture. Because our trip was short, we didn’t get a chance to try all of the amenities like the gym or the bar, but the overall vibe, service, and comfort of The Lloyd definitely left a great impression. The staff was very attentive and helpful, and everything felt clean, safe, and well-managed. I’d absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Stamford looking for a stylish, comfortable, and convenient place to stay.

I recently stayed at the Lloyd Hotel in Stamford and had a mostly positive experience, though there were a few aspects that could be improved. Upon arrival, the first room I was assigned wasn’t ideal for my needs, but the staff was incredibly accommodating and quickly moved me to a different room. The second room was perfect for balancing both work and relaxation, with a comfortable bed and ample space to focus on my tasks. What truly stood out during my stay was the exceptional friendliness of the staff. They were welcoming, professional, and always ready to help, which made my time at the hotel much more enjoyable. However, there were a couple of downsides. First, I was surprised to find that the hotel rooms did not have desks or proper workspaces, which made it a bit challenging to work comfortably in the room. Additionally, the hotel has a small gym, which was a nice amenity, but I had the misfortune of visiting while there were construction works happening right next door. The noise was quite disruptive, and I wasn’t informed about this in advance, which affected my overall experience. Overall, the Lloyd Hotel offers great service and comfortable accommodations, but the lack of workspaces in the rooms and the unexpected construction noise were the main reasons for my rating.

My stay at The Lloyd Hotel was nothing short of perfect. From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The rooms were impeccably clean, stylish, and comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch. The location is ideal, with easy access to everything I needed. The only minor inconvenience was an issue with the elevator, which was temporarily out of service. However, the staff quickly resolved it, and it didn’t detract from the overall experience. Speaking of the staff, they were absolutely incredible! Every single person I interacted with was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. Their warmth and attentiveness truly made a difference. I highly recommend The Lloyd Hotel to anyone looking for a fantastic stay with exceptional service. I’ll definitely be back!

What an amazing set of staff from start to finish and they were exceptional with my pet. Very clean and comfortable. I stood there from on 5/9-5/10 and they were just so attentive and accommodating. A male staff when I was checking out noticed I was looking for tissue since my daughters didn’t feel well and he went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed for our ride home. The valet gentlemen when I arrived and even the female front desk attendant when we checked out were both exceptional. Can’t wait to return. Thank you !!

I recently stayed at The Lloyd Hotel and had an absolutely fantastic experience, largely due to the incredible staff. From the moment I arrived, the team was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with anything I needed. Their warmth and professionalism made me feel right at home. A special shoutout to Carlos, the manager, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. His attentiveness and willingness to help truly stood out, making my stay unforgettable. The Lloyd is a gem, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for top-notch service and a welcoming atmosphere!

This was my first visit to Connecticut and The Lloyd was a wonderful place to stay. It was centrally located with plenty of restaurants around, and a short walk to the train station to go into NYC. ||The room was beautiful. I had a king size bed. The bed was very comfortable. In the room there was a Nespresso machine, fridge, and tea. Bathroom was stocked nicely. Lighting in the bathroom isn't great for putting makeup on, it's a bit dim. ||Lobby area was always clean and had friendly faces. Stephanie and Felipe at the front desk greeted me with a smile and answered all of my questions. They were quick to hold my luggage while I ran a quick errand. The bell staff ( I didn't get his name) helped me carry my luggage in and out upon arrival and departure. ||The fitness room was fully stocked as well. Plenty of machines with towels on each one. ||I can't recommend this hotel enough. It was cozy, great location, and had all the amenities one could want.

Stayed here one night for work. Overall the hotel stay was just ok. The location is great, the lobby is nice and the bathrooms are well appointed. The room itself didn’t have much natural light, I felt the bed was uncomfortable and the noise level was a bit much as I had to constantly run the a/c unit to cover the outside and hallway noise and also the footsteps from the room above. Breakfast service was a little slow as it seemed like they needed someone else helping behind the counter.
