The Armon Stamford Hotel

I was charged twice for my hotel room. I called to dispute this charge and the lady at the front desk was extremely rude, cut me off while trying to explain the issue and thought I was asking for another room tonight to which I was not. I was simply asking for a full refund as my debit card is now out 195.00 for 4 business days. For the aggravation I asked I be refunded not given another room but she wasn’t listening at all. Also during my stay, a man who worked there walked right into my room. I said I’m sorry someone is in here and he quickly left. Not a good feeling either. I feel I should be given a full remind for this hassle and not blown off. Yes I’ll get the extra charge back eventually. But I need that money now and it’s their error!!! She did not care and nor would she listen. Extremely rude service. I would not recommend this place at all.

I had been previously when the hotel was under a different name and thought it was wonderfully quiet. That has not changed. I do think paying for parking, instead of having it included in your stay, is odd, and feels like the hotel is trying to tack on an additional fee. I think it incentivizes people to not want to stay, which seems the opposite of the behavior the management would want to encourage. P.S. super cute toilet paper roses!

I've stayed here three times! My first time was amazing.. this 2nd time a week ago was a little strange. I booked 2 nights (1 night first then said I need 2, before I got there) I was told to just tell the morning guy, so I did, no problems. I put my "do not disturb" sign on my door because I didn't need cleaning crew but when I came back my bed was made, fresh towels everything. Which is GREAT but I didnt need nor want them. Then around 1-2am there was this annoying beeping sound not sure where it was coming from but after an hour and almost calling front desk it finally stopped... I will be back in the future because its perfect location & price but just 2 smaller "weird" things that happened..

The hotel offers a pleasant ambiance overall, and the room can be considered average, perhaps slightly above average. However, I encountered three significant issues during my stay that I believe warrant attention. Firstly, the television in the room was not functioning properly, consistently displaying a "no signal" message despite various attempts to troubleshoot. Secondly, the phone intended for contacting the front desk was inoperative, as it yielded only a busy signal. Lastly, and quite concerning, was the condition of the shower/tub, which contained hair left from a previous guest. This was particularly troubling since we had not yet used the facilities, and I always prioritize cleaning before use in accommodations that are not my own. The presence of hair and the discoloration on the shower/tub floor were both unsettling and disappointing. I hope this feedback is helpful for improving the guest experience. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HOTEL, 😫 I travel all over the world with my family, and we had to stay here 5 nights to endure it. No restaurant or bar or lounge on premises, We didn't even bother going to see if there's a pool, SPA, GYM, SAUNA etc, we suspected its a lie too, because it's empty and dirty! It operates like a MOTEL, their website should actually just say so, Dont come expecting breakfast room service or anything at all, They should just advertise for conferences ONLY, everything else is misleading, or they should state they meant nearby restaurant, not in there.The staff is not customer friendly, they speak to you while looking down, I don't think they see anyone. Don't stay long. My sister traveled from Europe , and this was so bad😞! NEVER AGAIN!

I had a very positive experience here at the hotel! Pablo was very helpful and gave me my room 3 hours before check in. He was extremely accommodating and efficient. Beautiful lobby, beautiful rooms, beautiful ambience! Will be going back soon!

Inconvenient parking entrance - $10/night Walked down three hallways to reach my room The wifi doesn’t connect well and disconnects during use. TV control weird to use - no streaming, no tv guide Room is cold - 66F. Set the thermostat higher but doesn’t heat well. Still cold. If you don’t mind the above inconveniences, the place at least looks nice. Shouldve scrolled through the reviews more before booking.

I stayed at the Armon Hotel this weekend and, unfortunately, had a disappointing experience. The property is very outdated and doesn’t resemble the photos online. On both days, my room key stopped working and had to be reset, which was especially frustrating while waiting outside the room with a baby and having to call the front desk for help. The hair dryer was completely non-functional, and overall, the room felt worn and in need of maintenance. I wouldn’t recommend staying here until significant updates are made.
