First off I want to say that my first impression was pleasant. I expected to have an interesting experience due to the Google reviews but it wasn’t until I encountered a sweet young lady name Lajanice (probably misspelled) she had the best manners and so much of respect for her elders. My husband was very impressed with her professionalism. She checked us in and told us about local attractions near by and different restaurants. Thanks for the hospitality!

Nikki was the 2nd shift front desk clerk and was so very kind. She was very knowledgeable, approachable, and willing to go above and beyond what I’m certain was in her job description. The hotel is dated and needs work, but having someone like Nikki working the front desk made our stay very pleasant. We stayed for 3 days and every night on returning to the Hampton Inn Nikki greeted us with a smile and ask about our day and always said to let her know if we needed anything. We would happily stay again. Ann & Billy McKee Lenoir City, TN. 37771

Rooms were clean but a bit worn. Front desk staff are super nice. It’s close to a Wendy’s and Taco Bell for quick bit and easy access to interstate. Workout room was clean.

Absolutely disgusting experience. I stayed at the Hampton Inn by Hilton Adel (GA) on April 10, 2025, with my disabled mother and 11-year-old son. Around 2 AM, I was abruptly awakened by the sensation of something crawling on my face. I swatted it away, thinking it might’ve been hair—but when I turned on the light, I saw it was a roach. Shocked and disgusted, I went downstairs to report it. The night staff casually told me I could speak with the manager in the morning—no apology, no concern. It was too late to safely drive home, and I was still hoping this was just an isolated incident, so I reluctantly returned to the room. When I turned on the bathroom light, I saw roaches running across the floor. Then, as I picked up my purse and my son’s hat from the desk, another roach crawled out. That was the final straw. We had food in the refrigerator, and I couldn’t risk any further exposure. I immediately woke my family, packed our things, and drove three hours home in the middle of the night. Our luggage is still sitting in the garage out of fear that we brought roaches home with us. To make matters worse, roach spray was visibly stored in the front office, making it clear the staff likely knew about the infestation but allowed us to check in anyway. As a Hilton Honors member, I am absolutely appalled. This wasn’t just poor service—it was a serious health and safety violation, and by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Avoid this property at all costs!!!!

The only positive I have to say about this hotel is the front desk staff were helpful and pleasant. Upon arrival and check in the room smelled of mildew. Carpet was old and stained as was the furniture. I chose this hotel because it was pet friendly and had a 4 star review. After my wife got out of the shower and said "this place is disgusting check for bedbugs" I went back and read the reviews. Should have done that before booking and it would have saved me a nights cost for a hotel we did not stay in. We packed up and drove on to the Hilton Garden Inn in Tipton (clean, nice restaurant and much needed bar at that point). I can't comment about the late night roach dances because we did not stay but I would not be surprised. I can't beleive Hilton would let their brand take a hit from a property like this. The lobby is OK but don't let that fool you. Read the reviews and drive on. Wish I would have delved a little deeper. I don't like beating a business up but if it will save someone my experience that's what reviews are for. Should have taken some photos to post!

Was conveniently right off the interstate. I'm not sure exactly what was the cause, but I think the room was too humid and made the stay a bit uncomfortable. The building is also very dated. Only 1 elevator, which seems like it won't be in service for very much longer. Walking down the hall (on the 3rd floor anyway) just doesn't give a very inviting or modern feel. For ~$130, I expected a bit more quality and comfort. The front desk staff was great, though. On check-in, the lobby was very warm and comfortable (on a cold night outside) and had festive Christmas decorations up for the season. The next morning we forgot an iPad on a table in the breakfast area after checking out and left the hotel. Maria saw it, grabbed it, and called the phone number listed on it to get a hold of us before we had gone too far. She was great.

The rooms are fine, but nothing spectacular. Beds were not super comfortable. I was disappointed our bathroom floor was dirty. The accents are modern, but floor and grout coming up doesn’t look great. The trim around the room looked rough too. If you need to bring a pet, they are allowed and have a dog park right outside. Breakfast was fine- biscuits, eggs, sausage, and potatoes, grits, waffles to make, cereal, and some fruit- but no oatmeal and the tables were dirty. Staff would speak if directly spoken to, but they didn’t go out of their way to interact. Location is right off the interstate, which is helpful!

We travel a lot, and we always stay at Hampton. It’s not always perfect, but it usually meets a minimum standard. Let’s start with the fact that the front staff were at least very nice and friendly. There were no tissues, shower gel or conditioner in the room. The microwave was dirty. But what really bothered me was when I went down for breakfast the next morning. I’m used to Hampton Breakfast and usually it’s at least edible. What they were serving here was disgusting, I had to throw it directly in the trash. Soggy undercooked potatoes, watered down orange juice, and the sausage gravy was mixed wrong and was just spicy, chunky and gross. So much for breakfast before we hit the road again. I like Hampton Inn, but we will be avoiding this one in the future.
