★★★Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. There are plenty of options within walking distance. The restaurant is pretty good, the bar is nice and the rooms are nicely renovated, when you can get to them (more on that later), but that's about where it ends. We're Hilton Honors members, but that got us pretty much nowhere this time around.||Our check-in person was friendly, but checked us into a room that was already occupied, which caused embarrassment, confusion and a lot of extra work, because only one elevator was working. Total chaos. And I subsequently found out that the person in "our" room was some sort of quality assurance person, which made me chuckle. I'm glad their own staff get priority over Honors members. When I got back to the lobby, I had to wait about five minutes to get to the same friendly, front desk staff member, who couldn't seem to find another room. Her colleague (supervisor maybe, but not sure) was quite possibly the nastiest front desk person I have ever encountered. I asked for the manager, James, who arrived quickly and was amazingly helpful and got things sorted out to everyone's satisfaction. Kudos to you, James, but get your staff into a customer relations seminar somewhere...fast!!!||We finally arrived at our room, and the sliding bathroom door would not stay closed, but at that point, I wasn't about to push the envelope, so we just 'made do'. Dinner was nice and our server was amazing.||Checkout the next morning was nondescript, but the front desk person (someone else) was clueless and disinterested in pretty much everything.||We have stayed at this location (and many others) multiple times, but I am not so sure I will stay here again.

NillThis was our half way stop between SC and FL. We checked in late and had a roach in our room. We let the employees know and they said the manager would contact us about canceling the room stay on the way back because of this. Figuring it was taken care of and we would hear from the manager, we checked out and kept going. A couple days went by and still no call so we reached out again. She was busy but they promised she would call back. She never did so we called again. We finally got in touch with her and she told us to call advanced booking to cancel and it would be no problem. They refused to do it and so did advanced booking (so they are insisting on charging us for a room we haven’t even checked into yet because it’s a future date even though we had a roach in our room). Tequila, the GM, called us liars and basically said “we don’t have roaches” and hung up. Will never book here again or probably any Hilton. The customer service agent was on a three way with us and Tequila while she was being rude and could also care less. Hilton has definitely gone down hill.

★★★★The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable with very fluffy pillows. The bath has a walk-in shower that is very convenient and safe for seniors such as us. Staff is friendly and helpful, and check-in was easy. Location is conveniently located close to highway exit for travelers. |The only downside is that the restaurant drink and food selection was somewhat limited.

NillEntire property was extremely clean. Dinner menu was a bit limited, but staff and service were superb. Gym was one of the best I’ve seen at any hotel.

NillFront desk service was some of the worst I've experienced in a long while. The hotel was testing the fire alarms system... for hours. The fire alarms inside the rooms were blaring. The front desk wasn't concerned with our complaints. We left early. Two of the 4 elevators don't work. I encountered a fellow traveller who frequents this HGI regularly who said they appeared to be inop for the last year. Avoid this property.

NillMy room was cleaned daily with new towels & etc. The room was spacious with two queen size beds & a pull out sofa bed with a sliding divider. I had a full size refrigerator and a microwave, dishwasher, garbage disposal and cups, glasses & plates, silverware, pots and pans and a hot plate if needed. There's a free breakfast with self served items. I ate at the buffet breakfast for $11 bucks There' a gym, indoor heated pool. Plenty of conference rooms for meetings, there plenty of outdoor chairs out front from the full bar. I will choose The Hilton Garden Inn Brunswick for all my stays.

NillI attended a work function. We did not stay overnight. Therefore, a review of the rooms is not applicable. The service was excellent. The entire staff was very courteous, helpful and friendly.

NillWe have stayed in many Hilton Garden Inn hotels. We choose this one because it is newer than the surrounding hotels. The lobby and outdoor areas are beautiful. The problem begins when you enter the room. We were in room 309. Every piece of metal was covered with rust, the table lamps, standing lamp and vanity. I asked if this was a design esthetic and was told no. The grout in the shower was black. The bed was cheap and uncomfortable. The biggest surprise was at breakfast which offered the exact same self-serve free breakfast found in other Hilton Garden Inns except here we had to pay $11 per person. I would be happy to pay that if I was being offered something other than a real coffee mug. That was the only difference I could find. We won’t be returning here. I see a review from two months ago addressing the same issue with room 309. It appears Hilton is not interested in addressing this simple fix.
