Holiday Inn Express Forsyth, an IHG Hotel

We stayed here twice - on the way to and from Florida. The first time we had a 4th floor room. There were only two sets of towels and no bath mat. We arrived at 2:40 and had to wait for the room to be finished. The second time we stayed on the first floor. It was on the opposite side of the first stay and was very noisy with traffic and parking lot sounds. We did have enough towels and a bathmat in this room. No bathroom fans in the bathrooms. Both times the clerks who checked us in were not very friendly, but did their jobs. Both rooms had beds that were very firm, had the standard fridge/freezer, coffee maker and microwave. The bathroom counters are very small. The air/heat was on the window. The faucets are strange and took some time to figure out how to turn off and to get hot water. The breakfast was standard for an HI Express. The price seemed high for the area and we probably won't be back to this hotel when in the area.

We enjoyed our stay here. We got a king suite with a fold out couch so our teens could sleep on a cot (we brought) and the couch and thought we’d have room. It was tight but we made it work. Rooms were clean. Very nice selection at breakfast. Staff was nice. I was surprised because usually the smaller towns the rooms smell like smoke still or they’re worn or people smoke pot, but not here. We’ll be staying again when we visit family.

The staff were excellent. The breakfast was great. The hotel was old and tired. Everything about it is old and tired. I believe the carpet has been replaced but everything- walls, doors, doors entering building look old and tired. The room seemed musty but I think it’s because there is no fan in the bathroom. The chair in the room needed to be recovered or replaced. The fabric had horrible wear lines on it making it undesirable to sit on.!

Overall my stay was incredible. Breakfast was amazing, the bed was great, and the office staff was polite and pleasant to talk to. The one small issue I had was the lamps in the room were older and had no USB charging ports. I had one of my own USB charging ports and had to cycle three devices through it each night to get charged. Besides that my stay was awesome.

the beds were comfortable, the hotel was clean, only thing was that the floors were carpeted. It would have better if they wern't. Not a fan of carpet, but that is me. They do allow dogs and that is a huge plus.

Quick service. Recognition by staff. Cleanliness of entrance, room, bathroom, eating area. Breakfast was hot, healthy, and satisfying. The parking lot and area felt safe. The staff were friendly. They spoke and asked questions to ensure I had everything I needed for a great stay.

We are always very pleased to find a hotel that accepts pets. Overall, the hotel was OK. The breakfast offered was good, although. Could have started earlier. Our room was a bit dated, and could have been cleaner. Especially the bathroom. Shower rod was loose and hanging, tile grout was grungy., Very rundown. My experience with the front desk was satisfactory. Basically we just needed a place to rest our heads for the night as we traveled. this hotel met our needs

The hotel staff was very friendly and our king room was nice and clean. Pillows were comfy, but for me, the bed was was way too hard. The breakfast was ok… the cinnamon rolls are always good, but the coffee was not as hot as it should have been. No salsa for the eggs.. kinda disappointed in that. The bed was the biggest disappointment… If you like a very hard bed this is the place for you.
