Days Inn by Wyndham Kingsland GA

I had the displeasure of booking 2 nights here using my Wyndham rewards membership and got 2 free nights after spending $1000+ through Wyndham for rooms. Upon arrival they informed me that I had to pay a $100 security deposit before I could access the room even though I had already made the reservation. My receipt said my total was $0 after using 15,000 points for 2 nights here and I expressed my disappointment because I was not made aware of having to pay any money before even booking the room. After explaining that I could not afford the deposit, which is why I used my points, because I have no money and am currently homeless I was threatened by the manger of this location who said she was going to call the police on me. I have spent more than enough money to earn those 2 free nights and I am extremely disappointed to have given any of my money to Wyndham with how I have been treated by this location. After calling customer service, all they could tell me is each hotel is individually owned and operated so there’s nothing they can even do about the manager threatening me with the police simply for trying to use my online reservation. I now have to wait 72 hours before I can even get my points back from the refund after having to beg the people at the hotel to cancel my reservation. Instead of simply cancelling my reservation after I explained I was not going to pay any money and I wanted to cancel the reservation I was once again threatened to have the police called on me. After my experience with this hotel, I will never spend a single penny at any Wyndham location. If you want customer service, do not come to this location because you will find none, all these people care about is money. I am very ashamed to have been a customer at any of these hotels.

Stayed here for 2 nights. First night here I killed a cockroach crawling in the wall. Then went to shower and it was disgustingly dirty and the faucets appeared to be falling off the wall. The bed was very uncomfortable. Do not stay. Spend the extra 20 bucks and get a nicer hotel right next door.

We stayed 1 night. Shady people hanging out on the stairs drinking and smoking. Room was musty and old. Doors had stuff splatter on them. I don't want to say what it looked like. Bathroom door was smashed in and the door knob was falling off. The sheets were dirty. Visible black on the sheets. The TV remote didn't work. I called Wyndham to let them know that this place was disgusting. They recommended I contact the place I stayed in. I did and I received the standard letter about how they try to give the best service possible. Given the choice of staying in a tent and this place, I would pick the tent.

SCAM! This hotel will charge you for towels you did not take! After my two night stay I was charged for hand towels, them saying some were missing. 15.00 a piece. Not to mention the room was sketchy. Security lock on door broken, cigarette burns on toilet seat, spiders everywhere in room, tv did not work. The Indian people at the counter could care less about the issues. I do not see how Wyndham endorses this hotel. It is NOT as nice as the picture on the website!!

The only saving grace to this establishment is its location. If you're looking for comfort, relaxation, safety, amenities or even a good nights rest, don't stay here. The room was SO dark even with all of the lights on, it was really difficult to read or do any work. It was so musty and damp, even the air freshner I bought didn't help. There was paint peeling all over the place along with weird paint patches on other places over god knows what. The bathroom door couldn't close. The sheets didn't fit the bed. The pillows were old and mis matched. The room was not clean when I got there. And wasn't cleaned while I was there for 7 nights! They did come in to take out the garbage and replace the one towel I used after showering, but didn't replace the hand towels or the towel on the floor next to the tub, never made the bed nor changed the sheets, never swept the floors. There was no coffee maker, alarm clock or hair dryer. Lots of creepy people hanging out outside of their rooms. I wanted to walk to the convienance store just next to the parkng lot, but didn't feel safe with all of these guys sitting around drinking beers. The "breakfast" was a joke. It was cereal, packaged mini muffins and white bread in ziplock bags that you could toast. Oh, there was a waffle maker, so that would have been the best part I guess.

Smells musty. The room was old. I didn't feel safe staying here. When registering in the office there was a huge screen showing all the cameras around the facility. That should have been a red flag. Sketchy people hanging around on stairs. The beds were the most uncomfortable we have ever slept in. Never, never would stay here again. Beware you are wasting your money if you stay here.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! 0 STARS Traveling 17 hours home from our vacation. We needed to stop for rest and showers. We went straight to sleep. Wanted to shower in the morning before hitting the road for hours and we could not! THE BATHROOM WAS DISGUSTING AS IF SOMEONE SMEARED FECES ALL OVER THE DOOR. Dirt, grime, hair, black mold all over the bathroom floor and tub!! The extra bed even had a huge disgusting stain. I went to the manager the next morning explaining we couldn't even shower showing him pictures and he did absolutely nothing about acting like he barely understood me 🤬

Positive: "" Negative: The hotel charges what they say is a refundable deposit of $100 then doesn?t return it. Reviews confirmed that this is a common practice. We have disputed the charge through our cc company. Please stop offering this hotel on your website. It?s a scam
