Positive: The staff was absolutely amazing! They were kind, they cared, they tried. Negative: If this is a 3-star hotel than a Holiday Inn is the Four Seasons: 2-star at best. The heat in the room didn?t work (it was 20 outside during our stay) hallways/stairwells smelled like weed, old cigarettes & slightly moist cat food. It was all gross.

Great place low key private little gem. Not the newest place so... But the southern hospitality is great . I don't get yelled at at 5:30 in the morning grabbing a banana and yogurt on my way to work. Unlike the holiday inn. In Chatham.....

Very happy with the room. We had two bedrooms. No issues whatsoever until we wanted coffee. I went down earlier than my wife and there was no coffee except for one carafe and it was cold. When I went back 30 minutes later with my wife there were no carafes at all. Its 7:58 in the morning this place hasn’t had any coffee for over 30 minutes but all the workers keep going into the kitchen and bringing out coffee cups. The girl running the kitchen part was awesome and was running a top show but whoever was supposed to be taking care of the beverages was asleep at the wheel. When my wife looked for coffee, one of the women said “oh my there’s no coffee” and I said “I told you that 30 minutes ago”. Its amazing how one person can ruin an otherwise nice operation.

This was truly the worst Marriott location we have ever stayed! Trust the reviews, the rooms are absolutely filthy with disgusting carpets and bathrooms! All touch surfaces were gross, they smell like old smoke... and you will have to walk through a crowd of party regulars that apparently smoke weed and drink just outside the registration entrance. This place was so gross we threw out the kids socks, barely touched anything, definitely didn't shower and got out as quick as possible. We completely regret not reloading all our kids and bags and moving along!!!

Service was good, but the asphalt leading into the drive has a massive pothole, the building reeked of weed. The place is outdated, the flip latch for the door to the room is barely hanging on and useless. The transition piece to the kitchen is warped and split and sticking up. The kitchen window doesn’t shut, the stove is rickety and the surface hot light stays on. The burners are bent upwards. The pullout couch is gross, and the mattress on it is worn, but moreover the bed itself is missing multiple springs, falling apart, and useless so my kids had to sleep together in the bed. The bathroom wasn’t great, the body wash was snapped off the wall, the water didn’t spray out of the shower head right, and the faucet handle wouldn’t stay in one position. Otherwise, no complaints

Staff was friendly and breakfast was impressive yet the rooms were not clean. Left over food in the dining chairs and stains on the mattress. It was not a comfortable stay.

Very clean and comfortable, especially for the price, with great kitchens! Sarah at the front desk went above and beyond to make my check in smooth, she was so sweet and personable!

It was a clean, spacious room with great comfortable beds. Breakfast was good too. Staff was polite & friendly. However, the air conditioner in the room was too loud. No ice machine in the hotel. Ice trays were provided. It is rather difficult & inconvenient to fill a cooler when traveling a long distance. Had to hold toilet handle when flushing. Room needed a little TLC.
