What a value! Higher “quality” hotels could learn a lesson from the management at the Hilton Garden Inn, Idaho Falls. The entire hotel is spotless, the cleaning team obviously taking pride in their work. Service is friendly, expeditious and professional. The location on the river and within a close walk of town, excellent. Amenities are also on par with much more expensive properties, the restaurant had a fantastic breakfast menu, the pool large and clean, and the gym up to date with free weights, treadmill, a working Peloton and more. Overall, whether you are in town for one night or many, with family or on a business trip, this is your hotel.

Very clean, lovely view. Restaurant downstairs was excellent. Food was delicious and staff were super friendly. Rooms are also very spacious and the beds are large king sized and very comfortable. We had a restful night. We had a river room and it was nice to wake up in the morning to look over the river.

Room was nice and clean, good in size. The balcony was very small, would recommend getting one with a little bigger balcony. One bed was very comfortable, the other bed we could not even sleep on. It was so hard and uncomfortable, the pillows were terrible they might as well not have even given us any. They were so broke down that your head would just lay nearly on the matress. Only one out of 6 pillows were usable. We were on the end of the hotel which was nice and quiet, but they forgot to have the side doors unlocked so that we could use our cards to get our luggage in and out easier. Really made it a pain it go through the lobby every time we came back in. Their buffet was joke 12.00 for cold cereal, muffins, toast, yogurt, water. The hotel was in a nice spot though nice and quiet.

Beware of the no refund policy even if you have proof of an emergency. We booked on a Sunday night I even tried to call the hotel directly because I did not want to book through a 3rd party. But when you call the local 208 number it still MAKES YOU BOOK THROUGH THE 3RD PARTY IN INDIA - had an emergency on Monday morning with a very sick hospitalized dog and had to cancel our trip a week in advance. After calling, emailing, calling again we find out that nothing is refundable. Doesn’t matter the reason. Not being able to get ahold of the actual front desk at a hotel is such bad customer service I should have known. I sent vet bills for proof, was already devastated to cancel my birthday weekend trip, but not getting back over $350 worth of payments was beyond us. When I spoke to Hilton they blamed the booking site that you are FORCED to book through. The booking site when called said it was up to the hotel itself to refund us. We paid over $600 for the stay and the ‘so kindly’ refunded us $200 of that. What a huge joke. We’ve stayed Hilton for years and years and will absolutely never stay at one again. Being local we were excited to stay at what supposedly was the best hotel. Will also be reporting this to the BBB. Please stay somewhere else that understands life happens and won’t scam you out of your money. Also, any communication with reservations.com has a fun note saying if you share of their communications you can be subject to a lawsuit.

We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Idaho Falls for a couple of days and really enjoyed our time here. It’s only about a two-hour drive from Yellowstone, which made it a convenient stop on our trip. The hotel itself was lovely, with beautiful views of the river, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Our room was spacious and quiet, even though the hotel was fairly busy. We didn’t hear much noise from other guests or the parking lot, which was a big plus. The restaurant and bar staff were great, and we enjoyed dinner at the hotel one night—a decent food selection and friendly service all around. The hotel and conference center areas were really pretty, but the bathroom in our room could use a little updating. It had a bit of an odor, and the shower was a step-in tub with a shower curtain, which didn’t offer great water pressure. Hopefully, they’ll address that soon! One more bonus: it’s within walking distance of Jakers Bar and Grill, where we had a fantastic dinner one night. All in all, we loved our stay and would definitely return.

Great place to stay, specially with kids. My boys loved the terrace and crossing the bridge to walk around the snake river. Everyone at the front desk is friendly and helpful and the food at restaurant is delicious! We stayed for a week and breakfast and dinner were on point 👌

This was our second stay here. I like the hotel because it offers balcony rooms overlooking the river and the temple. The rooms are pretty standard, but pricey. I did notice stains on the seat in the room and on the pull out sofa, but we didn't use those. The curtain was broken in our room and one light didn't work. Most notable was the pool was very dirty. It looked like it needed to be drained and scrubbed. The breakfast buffet was okay, standard breakfast you'd get for free at other hotels, but $11/person here. The eggs had a long hair in them, which I brought up and fresh eggs were brought out. My coffee cup had someones lipstick residue on it. Needless to say, I wasn't too impressed with the breakfast. The only thing that would bring me back here is the balcony with the view.

I have just left this hotel after a very bad experience here.|This was a one night stop on our way to Yellowstone.|We checked in and went to our room.|Our room had a very strange smell but I thought nothing of it and we went straight out for a walk and lunch.|Up on our arrival I could still smell the same scent when we arrived and it was coming from the air con unit which was on the floor.|We tried to switch the air con off but the wall thermostat didn’t seem to be working so I switched it off near the mains plug was a button and that switched it off.|I went to ask reception if we could move room but she told me they were fully booked. She offered for maintenance to come and have a look.|When maintenance arrived he was holding air freshener which I thought was really odd. I thought he came to try fix air con.|He offered to spray the room with air freshener or told us to put air con on and off when needed which didn’t help and he left.|I went back to the same receptionist and she told me our room smells because we are opposite the indoor pool. She was almost arguing with me and also accused me for dismantling the thermostat in our room which wasn’t true. Her behaviour was not only unhelpful but totally shocking.|She offered me a fan and I excepted but when the fan didn’t come my husband went to ask and she criticised me to my husband that I said too much to her and that I was thinking about whether or not I wanted the fan.|I have travelled the world but I have never encountered this kind of treatment. |Very very rude avoid.|Oh I don’t expect a response from anyone as all of your negative reviews have had not one apology.
