Americas Best Value Inn Salmon

The room was clean but gloomy. Hardly any lighting in the room and a very odd smell. Could use some updates. Website advertises breakfast included but there is none and no reason was given when we asked. Water in the pool was cloudy. TV was super tiny. Seemed like America's Best was taking shortcuts on everything.

Lots of rooms that are updated. Indoor pool and hot tub for you water lovers, annnd lots of parking for your RV or truck and trailer. Additionally they allowed me to plug in my semi as when I stayed here it was 12°F. I will definitely stay here again when in the area.

Switched rooms due to cigarette smell. We had to change sheets due to bugs under top sheet in 2nd room. The refrigerator was noisy all night. Our bill for the 1st night was adjusted $40. But when we asked to cancel our 2nd night we were told we had to do it ourselves thru the online reservation site. The only phone number to call is the office hotel in salmon on the online site. Even with 24 hour notice and unclean rooms we were charged the full price. Disappointed...

Sheets on one of the beds had dirty pillow cases and sheets, ie drool, hair and spots. An envelope was on each bed for room tip. Pillows flat and uncomfortable, with only two on each bed. Four in our party, three sets of towels and washcloths. Sink dirty. Had pump soap instead of new bars of soap.One hand towel. Air-conditioning poor.. Staff friendly and expeditious in getting sheets changed. Not a $200 per room hotel.

Pros, the lady who checked us in was nice|Cons, Room smells like dirty feet, carpet is old, bathroom is tiny, TV does not work, no breakfast, one electric outlet in the room, no coffee pot, way overpriced!!

Not a bad motel for the price. Rooms have been updated.

Kind of ghetto, but it was a warm room and kept me dry.
