Microtel Inn by Wyndham Champaign

I have stayed at this Champaign IL Microtel many nights over the past few months. The staff are very kind, professional, thoughtful, and efficient. The hotel and my rooms were clean and comfortable. I loved the window seat in each room. I appreciated the healthy breakfast which included clementines, bananas, yoghurt, oatmeal/cheerios, and individual milk cartons. Hot water and tea bags were also appreciated. The hotel is just off Mattis Avenue near I-57 and I-74 and close to Champaign's major shopping area along Prospect Avenue.

Never again they are rude for no reason I was treated like a criminal and didn't do anything they didn't want my spouse there and put us out early morning for no reason. He couldn't even pack our stuff he had to leave because they told the police on him while they were there dealing with another issue that the staff member tried to rush a woman and she pulled a weapon on him. It's the staff that needs to go and not the customers

Great location outside the city, but right off a nearby hi-way. Room was decent, but for a non-smoking section, I could smell smoke all through the hallway. Service was good, but missed vacuuming my room my 4day stay. Maybe something I should have requested! OVERALL 4.3.STARS

This is a very cute and clean hotel. Room was small but adequate for my needs. Window seat was cozy for coffee in the morning. Nice continental breakfast. 24 hour coffee and tea available. Very nice room for the price!!!

It's ok, it's good enough for a night sleep, the employees don't care if you are there or not, they don't have a smile, they don't say hello, not very helpful, they collect a paycheck. You get toast for breakfast which everyone puts their hands in the same loaf of bread, and coffee is always cold, it's not for me, but good luck staying there.

Positive: It was nice and affordable but Negative: Got put out because the person I came with was banned and they took my payment then told me so I had to pack up and leave immediately

Positive: "" Negative: The wi-fi was NOT secure. We paid for 2 people; the room only had 1 chair. The breakfast fare was minimal; juice machine out of order. This should have been identified as a "grab and go", not a continental breakfast. Grumpy guys at the desk.

The front desk lady repeatedly (5 times within 5 minutes) asked me if I had pets or smoked/vaped. I said every time I did not. Then I said after the fifth time being asked and was asking me again. I have already answered your questions.
