Holiday Inn Chicago – Midway Airport S by IHG

The hotel is fully remodeled and looks very nice, but sound traveled easily through the hotel and you could hear many things ( doors closing, toilets flushing, people talking, showers, etc). It's very close to Midway and has a shuttle. It's also close to many other amenities on a very busy street which contributed to the noise ( this is why I gave it three stars for location). Overall, it's a nice Hotel conveniently located to a lot of things There was a young lady at the front counter named Nelly who was extremely friendly and very helpful.

After a long day of delayed flights, the shuttle ride was a blessing as I was planning to take the bus to the hotel. My ride to and from the airport was pleasant as both were helpful, kind, and friendly. When I arrived to the hotel, I was greeted sweetly by MJ at the front desk who was personable and helpful during my check in. My room was clean and comfortable which made my overall stay an enjoyable one.

Great location and friendly staff. The bed was extremely comfortable for the 2 hours of sleep I used it. It was a quick in and out business trip with a leisure dinner afterwards. The parking situation sucked and the restaurant was closed so I couldn't grab a quick bite and drink after my check in. I love how large the bathroom is but I do wish the sink area was a little wider to store my makeup and things. Overall, it was a great stay and I would certainly stay here again for another turnaround trip.

I stayed for 1 night and can say it was one of the better hotels I’ve stayed at! Only issues I had was with the lighting in the bathroom and one of the outlets in my room. Other than that the staff was friendly, very helpful, and accommodating! They made my early check in process easy along with checking out! Beds and pillows were one of the more comfortable I’ve used. Wi-Fi and the tv were great I was able to connect my phone to the tv and watch what I wanted to watch! Overall I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be staying again my next Chicago trip!

The front desk staff were great. They had several guests checking in at the same time and were able to process everybody in a timely manner while recovering from what looked like a technical issue. The room was small, but comfortable and great for our short stay. We did have an issue with the bed sheets which was not properly addressed by housekeeping but the maintenance issue we had with the toilet seat (which wasn't end of the world) was dealt with properly. I would recommend this hotel if you're overnighting and have a connection out of Midway. Close to the airport and lots of food options in the area.

This hotel is not too pricey, the staff is very lovely. Airport transportation is quick once the hotel is contacted directly. Rooms are nice and clean. The rooms are updated and comfortable to stay in. Again, front desk staff is beyond polite and lovely to those staying. Would definitely come back if in the area again!

MJ at the front desk was so nice and accommodating and made my entire experience very comfortable. The room was so cute and clean—even had a little vanity! Above and beyond my expectations for an airport hotel. Would definitely recommend to anyone

The front desk staff provided exceptional customer service. They ALL made me feel like a very valued customer. A special shout-out to MJ. She went above and beyond to ensure that my visit was memorable. Even though it is an older hotel, there are plenty of restaurants and stores in the area. The only two cons: Low non-adjustable bathroom lighting made it very difficult to see when putting on make-up etc. No designated space to sit and eat in the room. I had to sit at the long television desk/stand.
