NillThis rating does not reflect on the staff. They were extremely nice and accommodating. The beds were rock hard. You will wake up with your back aching. Come on Marriott.. you guys can afford better beds. Also the queen rooms were nicer than the king. Do better

★Positive: Great experience with staff and hotel for family with sensory needs. 4th floor lounge is the best a relaxed space you can order breakfast or dinner bites from the bar but also hang out with your own food. It was excellent. Also liked the pool and room. Negative: N/A

★★★★★In today’s fast-paced world, truly exceptional service feels rare—but our recent experience with the AC Hotel Chicago Downtown proved otherwise. As we prepare for our group’s upcoming stay next month, we reached out to the property for some practical information. While the hotel doesn’t have a concierge, we were incredibly lucky to connect with the Uber-Fantastic Front Desk Supervisor, Emily.||Emily went above and beyond answering every question with professionalism, warmth, and genuine pleasure. Her attention to detail and positive energy completely blew us away. It wasn’t just helpful; it was memorable.||We’ve always appreciated the amazing staff at this property—Vee, Kimm, Lissett from Sales, and so many others who consistently deliver with kindness and efficiency. But experiencing Emily’s stellar service was a powerful reminder that this hotel isn’t just about clean rooms, great food, and prime location—it’s the true definition of GREAT HOSPITALITY.||Can’t wait to be back soon!

NillI stayed at this hotel last month. They charged me in error upon check out. I called to have the error corrected and the money refunded. The Accounting manager told me that I would receive the refund in 7-14 days. That refund never appeared in my account. After 14 days, I called to inquire about the refund and was told it was refunded to me. The invoice they provided had an incorrect account number that did not correlate to my account. They have provided no assistance to solve this. I have asked several times through email and phone call for a resolution for yet another error involving money owed to me. My emails have been ignored and have been placed on “hold” yet ultimately hung up on. I just want the refund owed to me. Simple.

★★★★★My family recently spent several nights at the AC Hotel for a large family event, booking three separate rooms. From the moment we texted our request to have the rooms together, the front desk team was incredibly helpful. When we arrived, the check-in experience was just as great—the staff was friendly, welcoming, and had arranged for all three rooms to be in a quiet area of the hotel, which we truly appreciated.||As a Lifetime Gold Bonvoy member, I’m often surprised by how many hotels no longer offer fresh coffee in the mornings, so it was a pleasant surprise to not only have coffee available but also fruit and pastries—a thoughtful touch.||All three rooms were spotless and spacious, and the housekeeping staff was wonderful, greeting us each morning with kindness. After staying at many different hotels in Chicago, my family has officially found our new favorite.||Thank you for a fantastic stay! We look forward to returning.

NillSo it was a bit of a struggle to get to this hotel after passing by it accidentally, then my GPS went haywire while trying to get back there. After almost getting hit by vehicles. Anyway we made it, checking in was easy, our customer service attendant was very nice and gave us a coupon for a free drink at their restaurant. The room was a little small but very nice and modern. They have plenty of USB ports to charge your electronic devices. It was peaceful for the most part. In Chicago there's always something happening. The bed was not as comfortable as we would've liked, but getting extra pillows made up for it. Descent hotel. Parking was good too, as it's connected to the hotel.

NillWe were very impressed with our stay. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are in great shape and nicely appointed. Location to all the fun downtown activities and restaurants. You can check out and leave luggage in the hotel lockup area before you go onto your next destination. We would stay again for sure.

NillThe location was great and it has paid parking next to it. $60 overnight parking for hotel guest until 3PM next day, just take parking ticket from 2nd floor parking and get it validated at reception. It has nice indoor pool and gym. It could be better if the room has microwave in it.
