Hilton Chicago

This hotel is so elegant and fancy. It was built in 1927 and the grand ballroom is so regal. The hotel is so large and has so many different types of rooms. The service was excellent and check in and check out is so quick. It is a lot of walking and switching elevators depending on what floor you are. Was here for a conference and the food was excellent and the rooms were perfect for classes.

I was here for the NSBE National Convention that occurred from Mar5-9 and I was staying at this hotel. I would say this hotel is at a really good location a lot of places nearby to do things or eat food and it’s walkable. The only con is the bathroom door can’t be locked so just be aware. The hotel does tend to get pretty busy so also be aware of that as well. Overall, this hotel was nice and I had a great time during my stay here.

Great location, great front desk staff, and shoutout to the man that works outside Rufus for helping me with my bags when he saw me struggling through the door. That man is amazingly kind and he deserves a recognition. I loved how my double bed room had two bathrooms, but it is ridiculous how almost every group in my booking did not have a functioning AC in the room. We struggled to sleep at night and I would constantly sweat every time we entered the room despite turning the AC down to 64 and even at one point googling instructions on how to work the thermostat. Lovely hotel, but I would only stay here again if the AC was fixed.

Stayed in the hotel with my husband for our special day! Such an elegant and beautiful place! First of all thank you Jane from HGV for your recommendation, you were right and it was exactly the right place! The service was excellent, the room service one of the best. We enjoyed our stay and definitely will come back!

Beautiful hotel with chandeliers. The hotel was clean. The lady who checked us in was very friendly. Upon check out we were greeted by John K in vacations he was very kind and explained the package very well in which we opted into. He actively listened and answered all our questions. My husband and were very pleased with his service as a lot of establishments customer services has decreased over the years. He made sure we left confident in all the new knowledge that was shared with us. We are grateful to continue to stay at the Hilton with the vacation package. Thank you again John!

Many parts of the hotel were closed. So hard to fully judge. Check in was smooth and Diamond status was recognized with basic upgrade. Even though many nicer suites were open. I had mentioned it being wife's bday, it would be nice to get a bit better upgrade. We had a grant park, water view which was nice though.

The service is unremarkable. No one answers the guest hotline. The hotel operator doesn’t pick up the phone. If I call from outside the hotel your given the option of “This is Hilton Chicago - to text with our front desk staff send a text to 872-205-1700. We look forward to hearing from you,” but no one answers the text. Location is good.

Steven McPhee was absolutely amazing, he helped me with my accommodations as well as recommendations. Great customer service, I highly recommended Hilton Chicago if it is your first or many times visiting the beautiful city. The hotel was very clean, they have great amenities such as a pool, hot tub & gym. There many on sites Hilton staff members ready to assist you or answer any questions you may have.
