★★★★★The entire experience was excellent. The hotel aesthetics are beautiful and welcoming. The food, drinks and entertainment was enthralling. But the best part of this was the service! Every individual employed was friendly, helpful and attentive. Viv, Thomas and Carolyn all have profound character and integrity in how they work and treat guests. It’s not everyday you get to meet people like them. Thank you to you three for making our stay extra spectacular! :)

★★★★★Rooms were tight so like who you are with! The lobby was the center of the thriving neighborhood. Busy from breakfast through late night drinks. Enjoyed the crowds of locals and their out of town friends. February weather was brutal so the rooftop was out of the question, but the lobby was warm and inviting.

NillGreat hotel and amazing staff! Anything we needed they were on it. I would stay at this hotel again. The rooms are definitely super small and they have an acquired smell, can’t describe what it is. It is amazingly quiet (9th floor) as they have a restaurant and they club on the weekends. There is also a train that goes by constantly. The decoration is blah, nothing impressive. The staff is what made our experience phenomenal and easy. A bunch of locations within walking distance.

NillI recently stayed at The Hoxton in Chicago’s Fullerton Market District, and it was an incredible experience. One of the best parts of this hotel is its location—it’s surrounded by amazing restaurants, making it easy to explore the local food scene. The hotel itself offers fantastic dining options, with two on-site restaurants featuring live music, creating a lively and stylish atmosphere. Plus, the speakeasy in the basement adds a fun, hidden gem to the experience. My room was clean, well-designed, and had a great view, making it a comfortable and relaxing stay. Whether you're looking for a chic place to unwind or a vibrant spot to enjoy great food and entertainment, The Hoxton is a perfect choice. I’ll definitely be back!

NillStayed here on a friend’s recommendation, and it lived up to the hype. The rooms are sleek, the staff is friendly, and the rooftop bar has an insane view. It’s definitely more of a social hotel than a quiet retreat, so keep that in mind.

NillI stayed here overnight on a work trip. Overall I love the Hoxton brand and have stayed at other locations in Europe. This is definitely a place to be seen. The bar, speakeasy and restaurant is a happening spot! My biggest complaint is given the downtown location and proximity to the train, the rooms are very noisy from both exterior and interior noise. When I checked in they pivoted me to a specific side of the building that was supposed to be “more quiet”. If I was on the quieter side I’d hate to know what the other side is like. When I checked out, I did let the reception team know so they could know that you can in fact hear the train etc from that side (which I was told you couldn’t) however they weren’t very receptive to it and more or less just made excuses about it and shrugged me off. I get there’s nothing they can do, but they could have handled it more delicately. May be worth the hotel investing in some higher quality windows in the rooms so there’s more insulation which would solve a lot of their noise issues

NillI stayed at the Hoxton for 8 days, and while the location in the heart of West Loop is fantastic, the overall experience was disappointing. The positives: • The hotel is close to downtown and surrounded by great dining options. • The lobby and restaurants are excellent and have a great vibe. The negatives: • Room cleanliness: Cleaning is by request, which is fine, but my room was only cleaned twice during my entire stay. One day, they missed my request entirely, and I had to follow up to get it done the next day. • Room quality: The room was small with outdated furniture. The mattress was uncomfortable, the comforter was thin, and the furnace was so loud it woke me up several times at night. Adding to that, I could hear the train despite being on the opposite side. • Major housekeeping issue: After my room was “cleaned,” I returned to find trash bags from the bathroom piled on top of my luggage and wet bedding (not mine) that smelled awful. I spoke to housekeeping, and they removed it quickly. An assistant manager apologized and said they’d make it up to me, but I never heard back. (Photo attached.) • Late check-out policy: The website says you can check out anytime if you book directly, but they charge $10/hour for late check-out, which felt misleading. For the price, I expected more attention to detail and better service. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t stay here again.

NillMy stay at the Hoxton has been beyond disappointing. My room is right above the rail, and the trains are really loud until late at night. My room is also the closest to the elevator, and I can hear elevator dings as well as people walking in the hallway. The rooms are not sound proof at all, and I can hear the neighbors easily. The central AC also makes loud noise. Critically, the rooms do NOT have any desk, which makes it impossible to work in the room. I asked for earplugs, which were never delivered to my room. I also asked for an upgrade or to cancel my second night, but the front desk said the hotel is fully booked and the sales team declined my request to cancel the second night. When I arrived, the room was also not ready for check in, and I had to work from the restaurant on the ground floor. Utterly regret staying at this hotel and do NOT recommend anyone to come here. I could’ve got free upgrade, free breakfast, and early check-in at Marriott, while this place offers nothing but noise and inconvenience.
