If you stay here be prepared to take stairs. They are down to two elevators with some large events going on this weekend. When asked about this inconvenience since one in my party members can not take stairs, I was sady told it was unfortunate. Wow. I usually love staying here as it is an older hotel but I love that charm. The breakfast is always great and we have never really had any problems. While waiting for the elevators (10) rounds, trying both up or down to get to our destination; I was talking with a nice lady. She stayed here three weeks ago and the same elevator was broken. Funny enough as my husband and father in law found me in the lobby after I took the stairs they told me a great encounter happened. So guests are down to only two elevators but the staff carts are also using those as well? You have staff elevators for a reason and if yours guests are already be shoved into 2, your staff should not be using those as well. Just a suggestion. We have stayed here the past three years for the same events. Unfortunately we may look into another location due to this service inconvenience. This service issue can be fixed with better management/ownership or just plain preparation for large events with an elevator out of service.

Was staying here for the Collect-A-Con Chicago show. Great hotel with amenities and restaurants. Loved the warm cookie on arrival. Was able to check in early which was wonderful. Clean room. Loved the proximity to the convention center. The only thing I found annoying was someone was in the lobby trying to sell guests vacations with Hilton. I could do without the advertisement when I'm just trying to leave the hotel.

Shuttle to the airport was right on time. Food during our stay was excellent. We didn't try the pizza, but it looked great. We chose a lighter meal of soup and salad. The roasted tomato/red pepper soup with basil was very good. We tried 2 different salads and found each to be superb - in fact, they were so large we didn't finish them.

Stayed here for 5 nights on a work trip/meetings held in the hotel so got the whole experience in terms of rooms, service, catering and meeting facilities. Really solid 4 star stay. ||Complimentary shuttle to/from the airport -- getting a ride from the airport was a bit tricky and I had to wait almost an hour for the shuttle (despite front desk telling me it ran at 15 and 45 past the hour), along with some other folks but it was crazy at the airport that day so who knows what was happening. On my way back to the airport - shuttle seemed to run more often than every 30 which was super convenient.||Service at the front desk was solid, most staff were very friendly. Out of the 4 elevators, only 2 worked the entire time I was there. My room was dated, but comfortable and clean (334) and they apparently do housekeeping every other day which was fine by me. Housekeeping was really sweet, friendly in the halls and did a nice job. ||There is a Starbucks downstairs, but the specialty coffees were super pricey - and did NOT taste like Starbucks. Walk on the other side of Embassy Suites and there is a nice *real* Starbucks in the lobby of the Hilton which is where I went most of the days of my stay and the drink prices were lower. ||Meeting space and catering was excellent. We were well taken care of and I was really surprised by the taste and quality of the banquet food. I had eaten at the Bistro my first night in and while the service there was excellent, the food was 'meh'.

Wonderful hotel located near the airport with convenient free shuttle service. Paid parking lot is adjacent to the hotel with direct access to one of the floors. Massive mall and convention center is across the street. The room was one of the largest I've seen in recent times. Fridge, tv, shower and tub, large desk. I was very pleased. They even offered gluten free oatmeal cookies upon check in rather than just the teaditional chocolate chip. Great staff and clean comfortable room.

This is an excellent choice for those looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in the city. The rooms are clean, spacious, and equipped with all the modern amenities needed for a pleasant experience. The hotel’s central location makes it easy to access many of Chicago’s attractions, dining, and entertainment options. The staff is professional and attentive, ensuring a smooth stay from check-in to check-out. While it may be a bit more expensive than other options, the overall quality of service and accommodations make it worth the price. Highly recommend for both business and leisure trips!

Haven't been here for at least a year.....and was pleasantly surprised to see the fitness room updated. It has now been expanded to twice the previous room size. Several more NEW treadmills, ellipticals, and a brand new machine. Free weights rack seems to be from the previous room, but no complains there. Very much more spacious.||The treadmill/bicycle at the sides though, do get a lot of glare from the spotlights just outside. ||2 thumbs up for this update.

Don't fall for the ol' free shuttle trick. I never found this 'shuttle,' just found frost bite and a $17 cab ride from airport to hotel (5 minutes away). The toilet ran loudly all night. The maintenance needs to look into it. Loud pipes banging occasionally, too. $50 deposit payment was strange for a prepaid room. No smart TV as well as no USB charging ports... However, it was a comfortable stay in the end, and the front desk gave me a warm chocolate 🍪 😌. So there's that.
