Wyndham Garden Urbana Champaign

Stayed at the Wyndham Garden Convention Center the first week of Feb. 2025 and had a very nice stay. Hotel is off the main street so very quiet and the room, a standard king, although a bit 'worn in', it looked more recently updated with a walk in shower with rainfall shower head. The room itself did not have a lot of light as it was an interior courtyard facing room, the bathroom was quite well lit. || Bedding was comfortable with good pillows and the room was very clean. Also liked that it had hardwood floors in the room and not carpet.||||The breakfast was hot every day, usually eggs with potatoes and biscuits and gravy. Coffee was good and they also had cereal, bagels and fruit for those that eat lighter in the morning. There was also a decently equipped workout room.||||Also, special shout out to the front desk host, Rebecca, who was very helpful and accommodating with requests and all the staff I met were very friendly as well. Would and will definitely stay here again.

Amazing stay! From the moment I was greeted by front desk staff I felt hospitality. Very therapeutic shower, the room is so clean, comfortable and feels like a vacation getaway. Had a minor issue with the WiFi but when I told the front desk manager Rebecca she was very polite , understanding, and took accountability on behalf of the hotel and addressed the problem immediately. Her integrity and customer relations skills really surpassed my expectations! She is a rarity and understands business. I will be staying here again

This place was booked for us as a group for a traveling sports team. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The place is creepy, the room smelled like body odor. The toiletries were literally half used. There were hairs of unmentionable nature in the bed and money left in the bed.|Clearly, the staff do not keep an eye on who is in their establishment because a middle aged man was hanging out in the elevator. Which, by the way the elevator smelled like something was burning.|Do not believe the pictures on line. It does not look like that.|We didn't stay. We demanded a refund and got the heck out of there.

This hotel is a MESS! There is only one working elevator for the whole hotel and I heard from another guest that it's been like that for over 2 years! The website says my room had a microwave, coffee maker and fridge, but there was only a feidge. There was no trash can in the bathroom and only 1 cup in the whole room. There is no soundproofing around the doors so you hear everything in the hallway as clear as if it were in your room. The powdered eggs and watered down OJ at breakfast was just the icing on this terrible cake. Don't stay here!

The sleeping experience was excellent Our pillows were so fluffy and bed so comfy! Check in and out was fast and the people extremely friendly. One minor detail is our shower curtain needed to be longer. Water from our shower sprayed onto the bathroom floor, making it slippery.

Very dirty and freezing. We walked into a room that had a pop can on top of fridge and a used bar of soap in shower. It was late so we just trashed the can checked the bed to make sure it was clean and stayed but definitely not a Wyndam we are used to staying at. Pics don't begin to do this place the justice of the room. The downstairs was nice and being remodeled. They really need to consider the rooms as well.

My daughter requested a hotel party for her 14th birthday. she wanted access to a pool but due to it being the middle of winter I was unsure if I could meet her expectations, upon browsing the internet I came upon Wyndham and the amenity that caught most of my attention was the heated pool, my wife even called and informed whoever answered the phone that we wanted a heated pool. the pool was definitely not heated nor was there any communication that it wasn't going to be heated.

My room was Terrible! Room went from freezing cold to very hot to freezing. Awful night's sleep. Room was in bad shape. I felt so gross in morning, I didn't shower. I was going to stay 2 nights but checked out and booked with another.
