Courtyard Ames

Place is beautiful and new. Room and bathroom look great. But the shower was the worst I have ever had. No water pressure and barely any hot water. It was just plain BAD. On another note ......Nothing for hospitality at all in the hospitality business ....expensive breakfast that no one was buying......$5 waters in the room. To top it off the place was fairly busy and we had to park in the back. Nobody shoveled the snow to get to the back so had to trudge through 5 inches of snow with our bags to pack to leave. High potential, good location......but avoid it.

Rented a room for 4 nights. After work on the second night I returned to the hotel at 5:30pm I tried to take a shower and had no hot water. I went and spoke the the desk and was moved to 2 other rooms. Both didn't have hot water apparently they had a company out to work on the system and they didn't turn something back on. Long story short paying $150 a night for a room with no hot water. Very disappointed the staff was nice and tried to help but was basically was told nothing they can do. My only option was to try to find another hotel in town and move all my stuff at 9pm at night. Not impressed!! Update: water was fixed the next day after I returned had to start the day with a cold shower but glad it's working. Staff was great contractor they use not so much.

This is where most visiting friends and family stay now, and everyone loves it. Clean and contemporary interior. A relaxing space. And the hallways smell amazing, which is something I didn't realize was missing from other hotels until I experienced it here. The rooms are reasonably priced outside of a few peak event times.

Lobby is so nice! Nice bar and hang out area with comfy couches and TVs. Rooms, super cozy. Perfect for a short stay or a hang out weekend! Either way, great hotel.

When I arrived to check in I had to wait 10 minutes for someone to come to the front desk. When I came back from dinner and needed a new key, I had to wait 10 minutes. I just asked for a new key to my room and they didn’t ID me, meaning anyone can give them a room number and get a key to the room. Would not recommend.

Very nice hotel. I arrived late and left early. Every bit worth the stay here. Huge friendly and inviting lobby. Staff was great. Rooms were well kept and modern. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was great, with a nice shower. The fitness center is above average with cardio, dumbbells and a universal gym.

I stayed for one night and when I left, they charged me for a water I did not take or drink, and when I called they told me housekeeping says what is missing, therefore I cannot prove I didn't take a water and was charged. Not very helpful information, and didn't seem to care about my concerning charge.

We were in town for a football game with friends, and the Courtyard was a perfect place to stay - great gym, nice communal areas to hang out, and the room was clean and comfortable.
