Staybridge Suites Des Moines Downtown, an IHG Hotel

We travel frequently. The hotel itself and rooms were extremely clean, spacious, and very quiet. Great for an extended stay with ability to cook, and full size fridge. Employees were so nice and friendly. Easy access parking and like the security of room key access for exterior door entrance and elevator. Complimentary breakfast was an added bonus with so many options. Highly recommend this location for singles, couples or families.

Highly recommend! Great location near restaurants. The room was very spacious and had a nice little kitchen that is fully stocked if you want to cook while there. There is a decent bit of grass across the street to walk a dog if you bring one, too. Free laundry while you stay and the gym and pool looked very nice!

Very nice Hotel with walking distance to the Capital. Great view! Very nice and friendly staff. Indoor pool, weight room, best of all fur baby friendly. My baby is my family, so I'm so glad that they accept pets. Garage parking, which I'm so grateful for. Come and bring the family and enjoy a short walk to explore the Capital. I recommend this hotel and all that it had to offer.

I stay at lots of hotels and this one is a gem! Front staff were enthusiastic and personable. The rooms are comfortable and well designed, with a full kitchen (complete with glasses, plates, silverware, etc.). Very convenient, covered parking was well worth the price. Public areas were plentiful and spacious. This is one the quietest hotels I have stayed at in a long time, both from outside noise and sound from other rooms and the hallway. The central location is great for both business and leisure. Decent breakfast included (again with real plates). One of the best stays I've had in a long time!

The suite we had was very spacious, even with 6 people using it. The kitchen was large and functional. The beds were comfortable and we didn't get extraneous noise from the street or hallway, even being located right outside the elevators. Check-in was fast and easy and there is a parking garage next to the hotel. Breakfast had many options and was tasty. The location of the hotel was perfect, we were able to walk to the capitol building and to nearby shops and restaurants. Kids loved the pool of course!

Great property. Loved room and breakfast. Clean and large bathrooms. Tv for every room. Free laundry a bonus when traveling. Location close to many great restaurants. Quiet area. You do have to pay $20 a night to park tho.

We stayed two nights. The hotel is situated downtown Des Moines in the historic East Village area with several good restaurants within a short distance. Good parking was available just round the corner at USD 20.||The team member at the front desk greeted us warmly and also invited us to join the social reception, which is available Monday through Wednesday. It turned out to be really good and just what we needed after a long drive. ||Our room was spacious, quiet and nice with a full kitchen. The included breakfast was very good and we really enjoyed our stay.

The room and bathroom were very clean and well-appointed. The pool area looked great, but I was in town on business and had no time to swim. The location is excellent for night life and daytime shopping, if you can. This was my second stay at this location and the service has been wonderful each time.
