Just spent a long weekend here just to get away and get some real rest. The lobby and the common spaces were very clean and organized. The staff were really friendly and helpful, we were mainly taken care of by Jaya who provided such personable service. The room itself was immaculate and smelled so clean, we got a suite with a hot tub which was awesome. 10/10 will be staying here again.

The general manager is very nice room was clean breakfast was good only complaint not many channels on tv or could not really figure it out. I stayed in the hot tub room which was very relaxing especially after a long work week. I will come back to stay as I work over on this side of town and sometimes it is very nice to just have a night to chill use the hot tub and sprawl out on a comfy big bed Thankyou!

They will double charge your card and when you call to ask about it, they will say there is nothing they can- do forcing you to dispute it with the credit card company. The manager will be short tempered and annoyed that you were charged twice and want your money back. To get petty let’s talk about the pool being down, which was not mentioned at booking. So in summary- they took double the money for half the accommodations and got upset when I wanted something done about it, sounds like the government. Spend your money elsewhere.

My wife and I recently visited for 2 nights in the hot tub suite. The room was nice , especially for the price point since we booked through a 3rd party site. However that didn't slow our check in process at all, and we were given Great service All weekend. The complimentary breakfast surprisingly was very good and there were a lot of options too. All the staff were very nice and helpful but Our favorite desk clerk though was by far Miss Jaya who went above and beyond to make sure we had everything every step of the way , even coming down to show us how to work the tv. Lol. Bless her heart. (My only disappointment is the pool is currently closed for renovations and that wasn't on the website but again we booked 3rd party so that seems like a mistake on their end.) All in all we will be back.

The guest room & public areas were clean & well kept. The staff was friendly & helpful, the general manager was working on a Saturday evening with a smile on her face. Choices for breakfast were plentiful. ||The only complaint I could think of is the pool was closed for maintenance. I was aware of this upon booking, so not really a complaint.

Jodi was a super person. Made me feel at home. She should serve as an example to others. Room was great. Parking at the hotel made me feel safe. Airport noise was not a problem. Only heard the planes when outside. Security cameras covered a lot, and staff was aware of people moving in the area.

Due to winter storms the wife and I found ourselves in Des Moines instead of Kansas City and no place to stay. Found this hotel, very affordable and close to the airport. We expected a dive but this hotel was great! Literally 3 minutes from the airport, clean rooms and very friendly staff. If we end up in Des Moines again we will be staying here!

First time visit to this AmericInn. Nice, clean motel across the street from the airport so you can't beat the location. Also easy to get to the highways. Front desk clerk for check-in was nice. Room was nice and clean including the bathroom. Internet worked fine. Breakfast was the usual motel breakfast: make your own waffles, eggs, sausage, grits, cereal, fruit, mini muffins, etc. The indoor pool is closed for renovation. I do not use motel pools so that did not bother me. No noise from the airport so I fell fast asleep each night. I will stay here if I visit Des Moines again.
