Whitmore's Inn

Exceeded expectations! The inside of this home is extreamly warm and inviting. Very clean, well maintained, comfortable, quiet and close to many local attractions. The owner of this home has it beautifully decorated with antiques and memories from his family's long heritage of living on this property. Photographs, story books, heirlooms, paintings, historical pieces...it was all very interesting. It's wonderful to see the appreciation for past generations and history. We had the pleasure of chatting with the property's owners multiple times, which heightened our experience. They are terrific people! We came to Madrid for a family wedding. This house was extremely accommodating for having guests stop by and visit and had room for people to stay with us (sleeps up to eight guests). Honestly, everyone was so impressed with how comfortable this home is. We completely fell in love with this place and didn't want to leave. We can't wait to visit again. Next time we'll bring our bikes...this location is extremely close to the bike trails and High Trestle Trail Bridge. Thank you, again! We look forward to our next visit with you.
