Super 8 by Wyndham Arkansas City KS

The hotel is very dirty and run down. When I closed the curtains I was astonished at how stained and dirty they were. The bedspread was very dirty and the bed sheets were very old. Also, I was bit by something in the bed. Have no idea what it was. The hotel should not advertise that they offer breakfast, it was a joke, just biscuits and gravy, bread and cereal was out. It's shocking how expensive it was to stay at this hotel. I do not recommend.

Charity was very friendly and made our stay very pleasant!! We thought everything was very clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay there again!!

We had made reservations. Got to the hotel and at first glance the stairway appeared not to have been vacuumed in a long time. We went up separate stairway to our room. It was as dirty as the first, not just dust but like it had not been vacuumed in a long time. We should have turned back but we went on into the room. The smell of pot or something nasty was our first turn off and then there were no pillow cases on one of the beds and we were afraid to investigate further. This all took 5 minutes. The manager said they would not refund any money but offered us another room or a stay there another time. We were certainly not interested in coming back. We left.

The best part is the front clerk. Kristine I believe was hee name. Really went above and beyond to make one feel comfortable and welcomed. Would absolutely keep her around. Main reason I will stay there again. Other than that clean, pretty quite, on outskirts of town but close to convenience store and Walmart. Also really good Chinese buffer just down road. Only complaint is no pool but can't have everything I guess.

We were looking for a safe and clean place to stay while attending music festival nearby. Felt very safe there -- and a very pleasant and helpful staff. though understaffed. Room was not as clean as it could be.

We stayed at Super 8 in Arkansas City,Ks the off Summit before I even checked in my card was ran at 1pm mind you check in time is after 3pm spoke to Deann I told her my card was only to reserve the room why did you take my money off my card was paying with cash please put my money back on my card she did then my card was ran again at 3 pm still hadn't checked in then it was ran again at 6:30 pm my card was ran a total of 6 times not acceptable to me will never stay there again. Only good thing was a young lady by the name of Christiana and young man named Will and I didn't get the housekeeper's name were so wonderful desk clerk Christiana did everything in her power to correct Deanna mistakes Deanna didn't accountability for what she did never once apologized. So if you happen to stay there put notes MY CARD ISN'T TO BE RAN UNTIL I CHECK IN another customer standing there over heard my conversation and his card was ran 3 times beware

It smelled musty and of smoke, the rug was damp to walk on, the shower was dirty with mold on the shower curtain and rusty faucets that leaked. The chain lock on the door was broken, there was only a half roll of toilet paper, the TV didn’t work there was coffee left in the coffee pot from the previous guest, holes in the wall and no covers on the electric outlets. I have photos of all of these if needed. I asked if I could change rooms and was told there were no other rooms available.

Don’t b fooled by the “good” reviews. They were made up by the cheapskate owners. This place is the worst place I’ve ever stayed in, in my entire life. What a nasty dump. In disrepair. Ur better off sleeping in your car. Dirty sheets, dirty carpets, bed bugs, spiders, just nasty. One of the people that works there lives there with their children who make tons of noise/slam doors all day/night. It’s like nothing I’ve ever seen. I can’t believe it’s real. If you don’t want to sleep in your car, then get a tent and sleeping bag, but stay away from this place.
