Sleep Inn Olathe - Kansas City

Out of state worker . Low water pressure, berly any hot water, elevator doesn't work had to carry all my luggage UPSTAIRS downstairs was sold out even tho I checked in early. Called for late checkout but they only gave me till 12pm needed extra time in hopes water pressure would b better in the morning. WOULD NEVER STAY AGAIN breakfast was trash.

Dog Friendly! Very Clean. Many of the fixtures are the same as Hilton. Staff is GREAT. Rooms are small, but worth the price. My back didn't like the mattress but the pillows were good. We extended our stay by 2 nights.

After taking my son swimming here I realized the only working light in the bathroom was flickering on and off. It actually turned off completely while my son was showering . I contacted the front desk , they didn’t have the same room available so I had to wait until the next day. They didn’t have a room cleaned for me until after 1pm. I asked for a 4pm late check out or my first night refunded . All they offered was a 2pm check out. I checked in Friday and due to the issue with the bathroom light I wasn’t able to shower until after 1pm on Saturday. I didn’t feel that I was compensated correctly so I contacted Choice Hotels. They gave me points for the inconvenience. I went to book again with this hotel and they told me because I complained to choice customer service I WAS NOT ALLOWED TO STAY there anymore 😳😳😳☝️☝️☝️ Thats absurd and outrageous!!! The manager are you with me and told me it was my fault because I complained to customer service I costed the private owner money and now I am not allowed to stay there!!! That’s totally backwards and I will be contacting customer service again. The rooms are nice but I would never stay here knowing that the owners don’t appreciate people that stay there and when they complain they get banned so crazy.

This was a very clean and friendly place. the beds were very comfy. Staff was overly friendly and helpful in many ways. Played games in the lobby in the evening. Highly recommend this place.

The kindness of the manager and the helpfulness of Charlie, made my stay very pleasant.. Don't just wave/tap the keycards, ya gotta press and hold! Thanks again Charlie for helping an ole man open his door!

This property was very well kept and clean. The staff was friendly. I found the bed quite comfortable and the shower space was roomy and well-lighted. The ice machines on each floor were appreciated. Also, the price was reasonable compared to most other hotels/motels in the area. The free breakfast was OK, but the breakfast area was quite warm for this time of year, due to the heat of the waffle machine and the constantly running roller-type toaster. I’d recommend replacing it with a regular 4-slice toaster. Parking was easy and adequate and access from the interstate was good.

Housekeeping kept forgetting to give me toiletries and I wrote them a note asking for extra makeup remover wipes and included a tip on the note. They took the tip but didn't even refill any of the toiletries & certainly didn't give me any extras. At some point in the middle of the night someone checked in and was slamming doors, When I complained about the noise I was told that guests were checking in and they will stop being loud whenever they're done putting stuff in their rooms. Front desk guy never even asked them to be quiet. The noise and slamming went on for half an hour. Other than those 2 very petty things, my stay was immaculate.

Rooms are decent. But if you need to use the internet good luck. I would have better luck using a dial up modem.
