I initially thought the comments I read about the weekend parties thrown by the student employees were exaggerated, but they were accurate. These college students party until 2 in the morning, with loud music and drinking to the point of passing out. My experience at this establishment last summer was horrible because of it.

Overall this was a great stay for 3 teenagers and 2 adults. Our experience is as follows. 1. Staff were really great. We needed a cot because the pull out couch was really not something to be used as a bed. Super uncomfortable. They originally wanted to charge $10 a night for it. This isn't much but when I explained that it wasn't because we had more people and it was because of the couch not being worthy of being slept on they waived the fee. Also, my car battery died and Howie the GM and an employee tried to help me jump it. Another example is while I was waiting to ask for the cot, the young lady at the desk was helping another guest find things to do on a rainy day. That was nice to see. The last cool thing about the staff is that my daughter thought she left a pair of shorts so we stopped back in and they checked. They didn't find it but offered to mail it to us if they found it. 2. The quiet hours are nice. Quiet hours are from 1030pm to 7am and because our room was in a higher traffic area it was a nice thing to have. 3. The carpet I think should be replaced. When my party and I were barefoot in the room our feet ended up a little dirty and I personally didn't like the feeling of the carpet and chose the wear flip flops in the room. I'm sure it's hard to keep it clean. Maybe vinyl or hardwood when the budget allows. 4. I really liked the fact that they had bbq grills and places for families to be outside. 5. The public areas including the pool were clean and saw A LOT of housekeeping and maintenance folks. 6. When we entered the room of the first night the air freshener was a little overwhelming. It smelled like fake clean. I really didn't like it. I would suggest toning it down a little of possible. 7. The mirror in the bathroom was the only one and was really low quality. In conclusion, if you are picky about things this is not your place. If you are looking for clean, friendly, well located place on a budget this is great for you. Thanks you Howie for your help and your staff's attention to their guests!

The room was very clean, carpet-free, and had necessary appliances: microwave, fridge, dehumidifier. Our dog got to stay with us in a pet friendly room. Even though, Seagull beach is close - the pool area was still fun for the kids and they have a hot tub for adults. The only drawback is how tiny the shower is, perfect for me since I'm short but can't imagine a tall person showering. Great deal for the price!

Our rooms appeared to be recently up-dated and were very clean and sharp-looking. We were very pleased with the appearance and accommodations. The only complaint was that there was no coffee maker in the room, but it is understandable that it is one way to keep their costs low. Liked the built-in shower gel and shampoo dispensers (again a money-saver which keeps the room cost down). We would highly recommend this motel.

I stayed at the Town & Country Motor Lodge with my husband and 11 year old son for Memorial Day weekend. It seems as though they weren't ready for the season as there was a lot of last-minute fixing of things and cleaning of rooms going on. Since it took a while it was nice that they let you use the pool while you wait to check in so my son was entertained. The rooms have been updated and they're spacious and clean although there was hair in our shower when we got there and the drain was clogged the whole time. All in all the issues were very minor and I had a nice relaxing stay even though they were tons of kids running around I had a nice Corner Spot where I didn't hear most of it.

Room was nice. We stayed in a family suite with 2 double beds and a futon couch. We did not use the futon as a bed just a couch. 2 adults and 2 kids under 5. They have both indoor and outdoor pools which were both nice. Also a small mini golf course which we did not use. We liked it and would stay here again.

My mom and I, and my big shaggy sheep dog, stayed here recently for a long weekend and couldn’t have been happier with our choice!! The hotel is very pet friendly-great pet friendly rooms and a dog run in the back so the pups can run and play!! We thoroughly enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub, not to mention free coffee in the morning. Also the staff were absolutely phenomenal-super friendly and helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel; should we ever be in the area again we will absolutely come back and stay at the Town N Country Family Resort

Very clean room. The indoor pool area was very clean, well stocked with towels and a decent sized hot tub. It was very weird though, there was some miscommunication with the front desk and another family that decided to extend their stay... in our room. They reassigned us to a different room, but then we had to re-request the roll away bed that I needed for my son. Worth the money, just a bit unorganized.
