Canal Park Lodge

Great location to be. A nice pool area for the kids. Comfortable, clean rooms with nice beds. Complimentary breakfast, though the breakfast has been really bad lately, if I am being honest. Stayed here for the pool, but if breakfast is your thing, anywhere else may be a better choice. But I do like this hotel. Also, the one small elevator is slow, but there is a convenient staircase to the 2nd floor. The 3rd floor is inconvenient, so floors 2 or 2 are recommended. Comfortable places to sit and gather on the main floor, and right next door to the brewery which has amazing food.

The breakfast was great. The lobby areas were cozy with an amazing view of Lake Superior. Kids liked being able to borrow board games from the front desk. They also liked the pool but the hot tub needed cleaning. The location was perfect- could walk to see the ships coming in to the harbour or visit nearby shops and AMSOIL Arena. The rooms are dated and could use a refresh. Our room had an odd smell to it.

We stayed here right before Christmas! We had a wonderful stay. The beds were comfy, the rooms seemed large, the breakfast was the best free hotel breakfast I’ve ever had, the pool was fun, the lobby was decorated so cute for Christmas! There were lots of couches / tables to play games. Free Coffee was available! We walked to Bentleyville from the hotel. Great experience, thank you! 🎄

We really enjoyed our stay! Staff was wonderful! The guy working last night around midnight on 12/10/24 was top notch. He was so welcoming and very kind to us. The view was amazing and breakfast was good too! We will definitely be back.

We had a great experience at this hotel |1st time staying here. Rooms very very nice, great views and comfortable beds. Each bed must have 4 pillows each |Nice to have microwave & fridge in room. Don't get that in a lot of hotels now days|We had room 345. Very quiet away from elevator's. Great lake views. Room was super clean too |Breakfast was good. Had a lot of assortment too|We had s'mores by the fire, but not advertised. Only reason I knew was because I heard another guest asking for them|Had coffee & hot chocolate down in lobby. Both very good |I guess s'mores not being more displayed to me was only down fall.|Otherwise all good|Hotels are expensive in canal park. It's a touristy area, so you just have to expect that. Very competitively priced compared to other hotels in area.|Thank you for great stay! We will be back!

Very comfortable, clean and perfect for our Christmas day adventure. Bentleyville was a short, 5 minute drive away from where we stayed. The lodge was nicely decorated for the season and my kids loved the Santa hat on the bear skin. The pool was fun, breakfast was tasty and the amenities were very appreciated.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel. We stayed at Christmas time so the lobby was decorated beautifully! The rooms were clean and comfortable, the included breakfast was next-level, it was such an incredible time for my children, my husband and me. Easy 5 star!

Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, breakfast is always pretty good. Great location love that you can walk right down to the water. Was really dissapointed with the pool area. It would be nice if somebody would monitor it from time to time. Kids were runnning screaming, wrestling, throwing a football with a parent taking part in it also taking up half of the pool area. Football was coming out of the pool splashing the water on guest that were trying to just watch there children. Once the football hit a guest chair and she actually just got up and walked away. Hot tub had children in and out of it. Honestly witness 2 adult guest actually got out and only had been in it for maybe 3 minutes. My husband and I never got a chance to use the hot tub as we watched our children swim...and that happens sometimes but we would of been able to enjoy it if children were not in the hot tub using as a pool swimming and jumping around in it. Wish you would have adult hours for your pool area.
