NillWas fine. The life guards are on point for sure, they are paying attention and I'd feel safe if I had small children. Was crazy busy, every time I go, the hot tub is full of small children and not very hot...standing room only. Great for kids, not for me though. They supply towels, have good showers, and a place to order food and drinks...but the lines were long and slow. An improvement would be a nice sauna, and an adult only hot tub.

NillMe and my husband booked two nights in one of the king sized whirlpool rooms as a vacation, needless to say left feeling very refreshed and enjoyed our stay. However, some things to note about our stay, when we arrived for the first night, the water park was closed. There was no disclosure about it, but they didn't charge me for the two wristbands we would have had that day. So not too much harm, but definitely wise to call and see if their water park will be open if you plan to go there mainly for that. Our room was pretty clean, like most reviews claim they definitely could use a bit of an update here and there. One of the chairs in our room had a small tear on the cushion so we avoided using it to prevent further damage, but overall most if not everything else in the room was fine. They gave us some coupons to use in their sunrise bar location, that was conveniently on our floor. Both days this location was not open. They disclaimed our first night that it wouldn't be open, but not the second. We were a bit disappointed, but if you wanted mixed drinks there's bars nearby and even just a liquor store not even two buildings away. So overall a bit disappointed, but not mood killing. Staff was very helpful and kind. Nothing more to really note on that since we had everything we needed for our stay already. But overall was a positive experience. We will definitely be making a once a year winter booking for their whirlpool room a regular thing.

NillLimited pool hours and cold pool make it not worth the $ anymore. Our room key had to be reset every time we left and came back. Bathroom shower flooded bathroom due to lack of anything stopping the water. On a good note: Staff was kind and coffee shop great.

NillTeenage kids who were working were absolutely power hungry and allowed very little fun! I got yelled at for floating by my tube on the lazy river, my tube turning around while in the slide, and a few other things. My wife and I seemed to be walking on egg shells while we were in their water park. Also the green slide hurts going down! I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and I plan to call management tomorrow to hopefully resolve some of these issues.

★★Hotel is older looking which is fine so wasn’t expecting anything super fancy. When we walked into the room we were met with a musty damp smell. There are stains on the curtains. The bathtub had 3 spiders so I’m guessing the room hasn’t been used in awhile. There is a line to hang laundry in bathroom, but it’s broken. |Visible water damage in the bathroom on the ceiling (no bathroom fan to control moisture) that was just painted over, and I did see a spot of mold as well. |The sheets felt either dirty or starchy…. Not sure which. Almost sticky? Pillows were decently fluffy.| Staff was friendly.|“Lake view” is of trees and the highway unless you’re on the top floor.|Did not use the water park. Outdoor swimming pool and spa did look clean, didn’t use.|Overpriced for the level of cleanliness and lack of upkeep on rooms. Should be priced more like a motel.

NillI booked this place solely because it had a Waterpark for the kids. We arrived quite late the first night. The room initially stunk of chlorine, but we either went nose blind or it cleared out. Unfortunately, the toilet was also plugged, so we used the public restroom on the 4th floor as we didn't want to wake the kids with maintenance in the room. Additionally, and not necessarily the hotel's fault, teenage kids were running down the halls at 2am yelling and banging on things, causing me and the children to be startled awake. Next morning, we had breakfast and went down to the water park. Guess what, they are closed from 10am to 5pm. What kind is business closes their main attraction during peak hours? Edit: I was told it is due to lack of staffing. I canceled my second night that was booked. The staff were very helpful and understanding. I don't think any of these issues are due to lack of caring from maintenance or staff.

NillDecided to stay at Edgewater because the family and I were there for the Bentleyville light show. Overall, great atmosphere and environment for kiddos and adults. Water park was divided evenly for kids, adults, and those who wanted to sit and relax. However, when it came to the room, I felt like they were okay. The heating/ac unit probably hasn’t had a filter change in a while because it smelled pretty bad. Shower curtains were also yellowing. Much of my concerns were brought up during my check out and Luke was able to address my concerns and refunded me a portion of my overnight payment. Thanks a bunch Luke!

NillI gave a 4 star rating due to the parking lot having glass in the parking lot that wasn't cleaned up but instead put in the grass. I will say, even though the carpet was older and you could visibly tell it was a bit outdated, the room was perfect. Had 3 beds, a microwave and a mini fridge. I Thoroughly liked having 2 sinks and the huge mirror especially with having kids and getting ready. The view of superior was beautiful (you specifically have to book a superior room). We did not utilize the pool as we had a packed weekend, so I am unable to give a review.
