Positive: I liked the size of the room. And the breakfast room and breakfast were pretty nice. Good coffee! Great fitness room. Negative: I think it needs renovations. The carpet seemed dirty. The bed was not all that comfortable and seemed to have too many bouncy springs. The window shades were not attractive but were definitely functional.

I stayed one night at the hotel for work and ended up accidentally leaving a 1TB SSD Sandisk drive in my room. I called the front desk the next morning and spoke to Matt. Matt took the extra time to work with housekeeping and hotel staff and located my device. We made arrangements to have it shipped to my new location. Thanks Matt!

Very accommodating staff especially with all the state fair chaos. I had to miss breakfast a few times due to some early early morning and the folks let me grab some coffee. Matt and Mary were also extremely helpful. There was a strange gas smell one night but that was taken care of quickly and they were aware immediately.

We stayed multiple nights in the spacious 2 bedroom/2 bathroom larger suite. 3 TVs, fireplace, futon, workspace, dining table and 4 chairs, full stove/ oven, refrigerator and dishwasher. Nice dishes, silverware and needed utensils, bowls, etc. provided, along with microwave. Our early check in was nicely accommodated by Madonna, and she was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. All staff we encountered greeted us and were pleasant. We enjoyed the daily breakfast, which featured something different every day. Not sure how the eggs were prepared, but they were particularly delicious! Pool and hot tub were wonderful. The only thing my husband and I discovered was the toiletries mounted in the shower -- shampoo, conditioner and body wash---are difficult to read without our glasses. Darker labeling would be helpful. Not a big deal, just a suggestion. The garbage cans in the suite are very small, and we could have used at least one more garbage can since we stayed multiple nights. There is a one cup coffee maker in the suite. A full size pot would have been more convenient for us, but again, not a huge deal. At the hotel breakfast area there are paper cups only, and they are small. Bring your coffee mugs from your suite if you're a coffee drinker like me! We loved the location of this hotel. Easy to get to, Wal-Mart, grocery nearby. We felt safe here. Will stay here again. I stayed here while in town for work and not only was I amazing surprised at the room I was in but the staff was outstanding. My room was clean and more than I expected. I would like to say that Madonna at the front desk not only greeted me with such professionalism and persona was extremely positive. She made sure anything I needed was taken care of. As for Michael in the breakfast area, I have never been to a hotel where the breakfast staff greeted you and actually cared about the presentation of the food and he kept the area extremely clean. There was also a housekeeping lady everyday was polite and considerate. I absolutely loved the vibe here and the way the staff carried themselves. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. Thank you Madonna and staff for making my stay great!

The staff the staff the staff! We lived here for nine months after our house fire. Our suite was so clean when we moved in, and everyone was so friendly everyday. You guys have no idea how greatful I am for how you treated my sons. Thank you for everything. From the bottom of our hearts. Thank you!

We had a late night check in with our therapy dog. The front desk was exceptional in guest relations and recognized our Marriott status. The room was large, clean and comfortable. Thank you so very much for a good night sleep - we will recommend and be back
