The room was dated. It looks much nicer on the outside. It was fine for a night. In the morning a person who parallel parked outside our window started their diesel truck and kept it running. The exhaust fumes blew into our room. We started to feel nauseous and were concerned about our dogs. We decided to report it to the front desk. We took our dogs for a walk while the person at the front desk dealt with it as she said she would. We returned and the truck was still there running. My husband went to inquire and was told the smell was just the snowmobiles. She hadn’t been out as she said she would, nor did she check our room. We didn’t feel we could safely stay even to shower. We put our dogs in the car, and quickly packed up and left. It’s upsetting that the front desk person was not concerned. Had we been sleeping, we may have not noticed the smell and potentially never woke up! Parking is not regulated at this hotel. One entrance into the parking lot was completely blocked by a semi. It was there all night. In the AM there was an SUV parked adding a row, which blocked others from leaving. We were approached by an irritated guest asking if it was our car. Overall, this was not a great experience.

My husband and I stayed here recently, and we were disappointed. Building and rooms needed upkeep: paint, wall paper, carpet and tile in poor condition. A/C in our room had a broken cover that rattled. The email we got before the trip said if we stayed multiple nights, we would receive fresh linens daily; after arrival, we noticed a sign on the wall in the room that said you had to request the linens. Room had smart TVs, but internet had insufficient bandwidth to be used during the evenings. Continental breakfast however was well stocked and kept clean, although somewhat limited.

Room was large and clean, had 2 separate sink areas which was nice, the staff was friendly, and the free breakfast was appreciated! Location is Excellent, central and very close to west Yellowstone entrance! Downside: Bathroom fan couldn't be turned off when bathroom light was on and was Very loud, and the main interior could use an update!!

The breakfast was good until they ran out of some items for one day. Restocked the next day. Room was dated but not bad. TV was almost useless even staff could not get it to work. Worst housekeeping ever. You have to request daily housekeeping and we did. We had our garbage emptied one day and some towels replaced but no used ones removed. No shampoo available and replacement towel available at the front desk but no housekeeping service. The room needs a through cleaning and new housekeeping staff before this establishment is not usable.

This was a fun stop along our adventure. We stayed here for two nights and this worked very well to have quick access in and out of Yellowstone National Park. The town of West Yellowstone is a fun place to add to the experience, especially good for families as this little town has tons of food locations. We enjoyed our stay as the beds were comfortable, our view out the window was of some little log cabins, and the fridge did it's job. Having a fridge and microwave are important to me when traveling. As well as hot running water, good water pressure and a clean room. In all these areas we were glad to have this place fit our needs. || While the wild west vibe is a bit worn here (and around the area) it could use some updating. However, this was one of the most decent and budget friendly places I could find so I'd hate for them to refurbish and raise their rates, it's already a high price to stay anywhere near Yellowstone, (this is why so many do the car camping). ||We enjoyed their complimentary breakfast and Wi-Fi connection (another hot commodity for the area). We got good night sleeps after long busy days which started early and ended late. We ate around the corner at The Three Bears, which I found less than good, my son actually sent back his food and my other son had an upset stomach. ||My son ran to the local grocery to get lunch foods and we filled the cooler each day. We were able to get gas and all we needed with in two blocks. Well places town and lodge.||I have a travel blog where I share our adventures and itineraries to help others in the planning process. If you'd like more details about this area click my bio and check out my link. Thank you!

Just stayed at this hotel. I'm definitely not a picky traveler, and spend a lot of my vacations sleeping in a tent. The hotel is quite dated, which is fine. But carpets are stained and fixtures all need updating. The only thing we needed for our trip was a comfortable bed and shower. The bed was probably the worst I've slept on in years, and like I said I frequently sleep on the ground. You could feel every spring, and every time you rolled over the headboard knocked and rattled. Pillows were sub par at best. The shower and bathroom were as dated and in need of repair as the rest of the hotel, I wouldn't have minded if there was water pressure, but there wasn't. It was ok in height for me, but for any guy 6' or taller good luck washing your hair. We were told on check in that housekeeping was on request, that's fine. However after 2 nights I went and requested housekeeping as we were out of soap and towels. Was informed they don't "do housekeeping" but I could grab some towels if I wanted. They did bring them up when I requested as we were on our way out. Location is good and close to downtown, easy walking distance, however there were a number of hotels and cabins in the same area, I'd try those instead.

We were coming in late so I called ahead and requested an extra towel and blanket. I was told that there would be someone at the desk who would check me in and give me those things, When we got there, we found our keys at the desk but no one was present. The facility is old and in need of an upgrade. My wife found a silverfish in the bathtub. They are understaffed but those who were present the next day seemed friendly. This was the most expensive hotel of our trip owing to its location and the time of year. I would recommend finding better facilities in advance.

This place is a DUMP…the ONLY thing good about this place is the location. We had a room that apparently was having plumbing issues prior to us…..When our toilet backed up, and not of our doing🤭I told front desk at the beginning of the day before we left. When we returned 8 hours later, it still had not been taken care of…imagine the smell🤪 I called the front desk and they told me I COULD come down and get a plunger🫤. The first floor hall smelled….filthy carpets every floor, sign in front is gone, horrible bedding. There are plenty of places in this small town…pick another🤪
