Residence Inn Lincoln South

Staying at this hotel was the best decision! Our suite was modern, clean, convenient, and cozy. The kitchen was stocked with everything that we needed, even down to providing dish soap. We had ample seating options in the main lobby for meeting up with family and the firepit with outdoor seating was a great way to relax at the end of a long day. The front desk was welcoming and knowledgeable, and the housekeeping staff were so helpful when we needed something extra. The hot breakfast had the standard items you would expect (eggs, sausage, waffles, oatmeal, etc) but the difference here was that the *quality* of the breakfast items was very good (note to management--please keep this going because you really stand out compared to most 'complimentary breakfast' hotel competitors). Now that we've stayed here, I can't imagine using any other hotel the next time we come to Lincoln.

Had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for a month while in town on business. I had a 2 room King Suite, very clean, and quiet for the most part( except NewYears Eve) they have a great breakfast and Cathy who runs the kitchen during the week does an amazing job of keeping things stocked, always has plenty of coffee. And kept the granola stocked since I would pour it into a bowl every morning..lol great selection of food to choose from and absolutely clean. Viviana that works at the front desk was amazing to answer all my questions and help me out when needed. Always had a smile on her face and super friendly. Britney and the whole house cleaning staff was exceptional and did an amazing job with keeping the room cleaned. Would recommend this hotel to everyone who likes a great place with amazing people. Plenty of parking and a great sushi restaurant within walking distance. Walgreens across the street , as well as a gas station. Will definitely be back again.

Was able to stay here while on business for a month. I always stay at a Residence Inn on these trips. I had a 2 room King Suite. Had a full kitchen, with a dishwasher and microwave. The service here is amazing. Viviana at the front counter is an absolute angel. Always smiling and very friendly. Was able to answer my questions and give great recommendations for nearby shops and restaurants. Cathy who maintains the kitchen during the week was exceptional. Always keeps the food and beverages stocked. Always said good morning and asked how everything is going. Britney and the house cleaning staff are awesome! They keep the entire hotel clean and neat. Do an amazing job of refreshing the rooms. Always have a smile on their face and say Hi when passing them in the hallway. Very accommodating to anyone needing anything.

Ethan and Tahneceya were both really helpful with our visit they made sure everything was ready for our stay putting us close to the pool knowing we would be swimming with our family. We rented the meeting room and stayed the night they insured all our needs were met for the birthday party both were super friendly and helpful. We will be staying again.

Clean hotel with great facilities such as gym, laundry, pool, etc. The room was well equipped with kitchen appliances and necessities. The staff were great. Ethan was especially helpful and accommodating with the issue we had with the sink. Thanks again, Ethan!

This is a nice hotel! The rooms are spacious with fully equipped kitchens including real wine glasses 🍷 There's a fire pit outside and basketball goal. This is in a very nice and safe area. We would definitely stay again.

The point of this review is to do 2 things: 1) Recognize when you receive fantastic Customer Service and feel like you are getting exactly what you expect for your money. 2) Directly contrast my experience at this hotel vs the one I previously considered, but did not go with because of #1 above Experience #1- On Feb 14th, I visited the Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel around 12:50 PM. I originally intended to reserve a room in March because we already had tickets to one of the Dinner Detective shows there that night. It seemed like a good idea to book a room so we could just stay there after the show was over. I approached the person at the desk and said I'd like to reserve a room. She said they don't do that there, you need to call this number (and wrote it down). She said that when the options come up as far as which number to use after calling, dial "0" (she wrote that down, too). Next, I asked her if there was any way I could see what a room looked like- again, she said that couldn't be done either. I left the desk and sat in the waiting area near the corner fo the room so I could call without surrounding sounds. I dialed the number, but while awaiting an answer, my wife calls. I answer that call which takes about 3 minutes. I then call the number provided by the hotel employee; dial "0" as she instructed. From where I'm seated, I can directly view the front desk. Her phone rings after I dial "0". I ask to make a reservation, and she realizes I'm the same person she spoke with earlier. Next, she begins to say something about "after 1:00...blah, blah, blah." Now I'm done here. I leave and when I get home, start Google searching for the best hotels in Lincoln. Experience #2- On Feb 16th, I visit The Residence Inn Lincoln South Hotel. At the front desk was Tahneceya Sullivan, the Guest Service Manager. She greeted me like you would expect and asked how she could help me. I asked if I could reserve a room there or if I had to do that online. She said she could take the reservation there; what day or days did I need. After telling her, she looked it up and provided a quote. I asked here if there was a government discount; I had a couple Federal IDs on my person. She provided the discounted amount, and I paid for the room. I then asked if there was any way I could view a room. "Yes, we can do that," she said, and walked me over to one of the suites. She provided a description of the amenities and pointed out that the particular room she was showing me happened to have higher ceiling heights that the other suites. Don't be surprised if another suite didn't have them. The suite was clean, well laid out, and spacious. I thanked her for her amazing Customer Service and took her business card before leaving so I made sure to provide the right compliment to the person responsible for making it a great experience. So for anyone who has read my comments this far, I commend you. Spend your hard earned money here, at the Residence Inn Lincoln South. You will receive amazing Customer Service, stay in a room that is comfy and clean, and has other services- breakfast, gym, pool, hot tub, etc. as well. I am not affiliated with either hotel I mentioned in this post. I was not asked to write about them. Feel free to vet my own Google reviews to get a better judgement about the fairness of this review before judging. Enjoy your stay at the Residence Inn Lincoln South. I can't wait to stay there in March with my beloved wife of 30 years.

Room did not have fire place despite getting a room that was supposed to have one. Room chairs were dirty and had marks on them. Breakfast in the lobby tasted to salty and the orange juice tastes like water
