Comfort Inn Lincoln I-80

Room appeared clean, but hairs left in shower and on bathroom mirror. No kleenex and electrical outlets were sketchy at best for charging electronic devices. Mattress was really saggy on one side. TV didn't work but reset the receiver box myself and then it did work. Horribly noisy bathroom vent fan and I actually cleaned the vent fan cover myself as it had at least 5 years of dust on it. Was the worst hotel i have stayed at? No, but sure could have been better.

Filthy. A disgusting, musty, moldy, decrepit dumpster. You can smell the squalor in the pictures as they speak for themselves. Don’t be fooled by the new paint on the building. Lady at check-in was a delight, I won’t deny that. I’m waiting to see how my immune system handled this room. Shockingly bad. Run far and run fast.

We pulled into Lincoln and did a quick online look-up to see what was available for hotels. Upon choosing the Comfort Inn, we got checked in and utilized their laundry facilities. The rooms were very clean, the laundry facility was modern and clean, the clerk at the check-in desk (Julie) was very nice and the beds were comfy.

My buddy and I read the subpar reviews and proceeded to stay the night here anyway which means the only people we have to blame for our bad experience was ourselves. I’ll start by saying the staff was nice, but that’s about where the niceness ended. First of all, the hotel itself is situated in what seems to be a not-so-safe part of town. We were passing through so we didn’t know this until riding in. That does not exactly put travelers at ease so I’d recommend maybe rolling through and paying for a nicer location. Secondly, the room itself was not clean. It gives the appearance of cleanliness when you first walk in because the beds are made and towels folded, but upon closer inspection we were left wondering if those towels and sheets had been cleaned at all. The towels, sheets and toilet all had hairs that looked way too much like the hairs you’d find in the middle regions of your body. I’ll attach a picture of the washcloth which demonstrates this. The towels and sheets did not have a clean smell, but instead a faint musty smell. It could have been worse which is why I’m giving it two stars and for the sake of using the sandwich method I’ll end with a compliment to the chef because the breakfast was good. But I still can’t recommend staying here unfortunately.

Yellow towels,bed bugs,horrible wifi,pool empty, elevator broke,people jumping and pounding on floor. AVOID AT ALL COST.

The room was comfortable enough, especially for the price. The fitness room was unusable however, and the pool is out of order. Breakfast was okay.

Positive: "" Negative: The hotel stated there was a pool so we booked it for our kids. Once we got there we were informed the pool was closed.

This hotel had easy access off of I-80 which is what I needed for the night. The room was clean and comfortable, this is the only place I have stayed lately that still had carpet in the rooms. Pool was super cold- like straight out of the garden hose. Breakfast selection was smaller than usual. Hotel lobby ceiling had water damage, stairwells needed vacuumed- they haf lots of dirt / debris. Hall and room carpet MUCH better kept.
