STAY INN

We stayed one night at Stay Inn, room 112, on our way home from a road trip. The check-in staff was courteous, and the price was reasonable, but the room left a lot to be desired. First, there were several flies in the room, which was annoying to deal with. The TV kept rebooting and was unusable. When I tried to call the front desk, the room phone wasn’t working, so I had to call the hotel directly. The door lock wouldn’t fully close, and the keypad was loose, which didn’t feel safe. The worst part was finding a pregnant roach on the TV. I killed it, but it really freaked me out and made it hard to relax for the night. To top it off, the booking advertised free breakfast, but all that was offered was coffee. Overall, despite the price, this stay was disappointing.

Not the Ritz but for the price I paid it worked for me. Had a issue when I first got to my room but it was taken care of quickly. I will stay here again.

Booked 2 nights stayed one and told the manager the room was dirty and there was no breakfast as advertised. He said he would not refund and kept the money anyway. After hanging up on me once. I would avoid this place. It’s not somewhere you want to “STAY.” Maps said it was a best western. When I called corporate to discuss the staff they said they were no longer affiliated due to the poor conditions and service issues so I contacted maps to ensure this error was corrected so nobody else would make the same mistake I did.

Do not stay here under any circumstances if you know what’s good for you. Stayed here in June of 2024. This place is no longer managed by Best Western. No sign out front anymore. Slot machines/other gambling machines line the walls of the check in area, as well as trash on the floor. Front desk manager wanted a $50 cash deposit so that I wouldn’t smoke in the room, thankfully I refused (which me and the manager had to argue about a bit) but they have an ATM in the check in area just in case you don’t carry cash. Nothing about this deposit was disclosed before I arrived. Room smelled like the inside of a cigarette. Cigarette burn holes in the bedsheets and empty pack of cigarettes behind the dresser In the room. Peephole on door was cracked. Weird stains all over the walls. Black mold all over the AC unit as well as lots in the bathroom. NO SMOKE ALARM IN THE ROOM, just a hole in the ceiling with some wires sticking out of it. Was in the room about 10 minutes and had to leave because cigarette smell was so overpowering (good thing I didn’t give the manager $50 cash). Went to leave soon after checking in, manager refused refund of course. Said they couldn’t do refunds and the owner was out of town, but apparently he couldn’t be called, emailed or anything. Thankfully I paid with a credit card and could do a chargeback, otherwise I’d be out my money and probably $50 cash too. I suspect management is likely leaving positive reviews with fake accounts. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Great value and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. I slept quite well. The room was not high quality but sufficient. The room was not especially clean and the furniture was broken. They have a little breakfast bar with cereal and fruit. They do require a $100 deposit in cash it's like a security deposit. Then you get it back at check out. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Absolutely do not stay here PLEASE!! Literally 3 minutes into walking in, we saw roaches on the door, table and microwave. There were burn marks all over the bed and only paper towels in the bathroom.

0/5 stars DO NOT STAY HERE. I read the reviews and hoped for the best....but everything I read was true. No sign out front and it looked like a run-down motel. Breakfast was severely lacking as a continental breakfast, customer service was insufficient. They also would not provide more than 2 towels per person. They argued with a customer in front of me because they wanted more towels and were told it was 1 per person. I requested more towels as there were not enough in the room for 2 adults, 2 children. They told me I could not get more towels until 11 am (I asked at 8:45am).

This man told me the incidental fee was 20 dollars then we showed up and it was 100. When we arrived he was very rude. We only had 1 towels and 1 hand towels and he charged me $30 and told me I stole 1 towels.
