La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Omaha Southwest

Very clean and quiet. I liked the continuous fan option on the heater, which prevented it from going on and off all night. I liked the Dove shampoo, soap, etc! An outlet did t work that’d the hair dryer plugged into. It was wall mounted so it couldn’t be moved to another outlet. I told front desk and they tried to resolve but couldn’t. Breakfast was very basic, which we expected. Other than that, it was a great experience and value for a one night stay as we travelled across the country and would come back again.

Incredible value for the price. At $53/ night I had low expectations. Room was very worn but very clean including bedding and sheets. Don't mind the peeling wallpaper in the tiny bathroom there was plenty of hot water and average towels. Room got a little warm overnight and I had 1st floor room opposite breakfast area so noisy. Decent experience would likely return if back in area. Free parking,lot reasonably well lit.

My experience with this La Quinta was horrible. I usually love staying at La Quinta’s but this particular location was awful. It smelled HORRIBLY of cigarette smoke, had unusable furniture in the rooms and the customer service was abysmal. I ended up not staying there and going somewhere else. I checked out without spending any time in the room. Horrible experience. I am STRONGLY recommending that you do not choose to stay at this hotel.

Great place to stay if it's not winter! They only salt when they feel like it. Lot's of guest told me that they fell and I myself fell and injured my knee. Of course management can't be bothered to do anything about it. This was my first Winter staying here and honestly it's going to be my last.

Are you looking to be pleasantly surprised by a $50 hotel? Well, this wont deliver. It'll be about what you thought. Well, could have been worse. My go-to was way overpriced for some reason, so I took a shot on this La Quinta on the Southwest side. Here's the breakdown. Rooms: Clean. That makes this a 4 star. Smelled okay, ish. It has some unsightly things, places where roaches would get in if it had them. Pillows were lumpy. One of the shampoo bottles was broken. Overall, did the job and above expectation for a budget hotel Service: It had it. The front desk wasn't nice nor rude, just there. The big disappointment was when I came out for breakfast. I was a few minutes late and they were packing everything up. No problem. I was thinking I'd grab what I could and go. The mini fridge was locked. I didn't want to bother them, so I was going to leave. One of the ladies, the room service help, asked if she could do anything. I said no but after she looked like she wanted to help, I said it would be great to get an egg from the fridge. She asked the lady there how to unlock it, but she didn't answer. She looked around and found an alan wrench. She tried, but couldn't get it. She asked for the lady to help again, and she just ignored her. I thought maybe she didn't soeak English or had no idea, no turns out she ran the kitchen and front counter. She was just being a jerk! It was so unfair to that woman trying to help me. I apologized for the inconvenience and just got my things together to check out. Of course, finding out the other lady was in charge and could have helped at sny point was so preculiar. Why do that? Anyway, I was late for breakfast, my fault. But the service score should absolutely take a hit when you do that to an employee and a customer. Location: Walmart not far away. Not a lot of good food. Nothing great really. But it's got stuff. Overall might do it again. Really depends. Either way, I'm skipping breakfast next time. Lol

The place was clean. The front desk staff was helpful. Parking was easy. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was the usual fare of breads, cereals, etc. the breakfast room was clean and well maintained. Check in and out was easy. We always use the Wyndham app about 3-4 hours of our arrival. Never seem to have difficulty reserving a room.

The room was clean and appeared to have been recently renovated. There were plenty of electrical outlets conveniently located throughout the room. The bed was comfortable, and the water pressure in the shower was surprisingly good. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, and I would recommend this establishment to others. Although the exterior of the building may give the impression of being rundown or neglected, the interior is quite the opposite. However, it is important to note that there is no elevator in the building, so it is advisable to pack light.

I have used this location several times in the past few years. I have always been satisfied, but my visit in October of 2024 was even better . It looked remodeled with new floors. The carpeting was gone and that made it even cleaner and nicer than before. Thanks La Quinta!
