The Castle Inn

This place has potential, hirer someone besides the lady at the front desk to specifically clean and someone to maintain the property from bugs. The impression I had is the lady at the front desk does it all (because she told me if I didn’t need housekeeping put my DND sign on my door she is the maid). The cleaning lacks attention to detail. It appears like she tries but it’s misses that detail of deep cleaning. Dead bugs on floor under window, in the corners of the room and bathroom. Curtains and bed spread dusty. Bathroom wiped down but not deep cleaned, under toilet or the bathtub. Staying somewhere outdated and not offering amenities isn’t the problem, maintenance up keep and deep cleaning is. Service was great. We had a light that went out and the lady at the front desk came right away and changed the bulb for us. Bed was very comfortable. Hotel is within walking distance to food and the shopping mall.
