Quality Inn

The beds suck! I have stayed at this hotel every week for the past two months and each week I get a shittier bed. I have moved rooms multiple times. The customer service is very nice, and helpful. And not the cleanest rooms either other than that it’s a spot to lay your head. Haven’t found any bugs so that is a plus.!

Needed a last minute change in hotel to secure a downstairs room. Quality Inn was able to book us into the absolute perfect room for us. We were in the handicap accessible room, door was immediately across the hall with our parking a few steps from the door. Beds were very comfortable. In room microwave and fridge. Staff was so nice and helpful. Maybe an older hotel? Lobby and breakfast area looked like it had been renovated recently and was sparkly new. Nice open breakfast area with good selection. Added perk was the lake being right at the end of the parking lot. So glad we ended up here instead of our original booking. Perfect stay.

09/20-22/2024 - First time visiting this Quality Inn in Port Clinton with one of my buddies. Two leveled hotel that is near Lake Erie, a few beaches, and parks. This Quality Inn is smoke free. Decent size room with duo full size beds. Not much of a view from my room because it is fenced where the room is located. They offer a light breakfast in the mornings, and it has a pool! Professional service. Prices contingent on your reservation or same day booking. Parking spaces available.

The stay wasn’t terrible, but it isn’t somewhere we would stay again. The hallway smelled fine (it was a little strong, but was “okay”). The rooms were slightly iffy with cleanliness. The bedding was checked thoroughly and it appeared good, but the carpet, walls, windows and window tracks were obviously not cleaned often. Our room specifically wasn’t vile disgusting or anything——but it’s not our style for when we stay at a hotel and especially for what they charge a night. The bathroom was clean, but was in dire need of updating. Pieces/chunks of ceiling were peeling and had gross color to it. And where the temperature was set a little too high and it got hot inside the room, it didn’t smell too awful inviting as we entered the room. Thank goodness we had some spray to help tame that. If it wasn’t for the fact we were on such a short stay and afraid of not finding an alternative if we left, we likely would have left requesting a refund. It wasn’t worth nearly the cost of staying there two nights and realistically isn’t where most people would want to stay if they knew what they were going to walk into. I suppose if this is your last resort it will work. I’m sure there is worse out there for sure, but I also wouldn’t suggest this being your first option (or 2nd, 3rd or 4th, etc). *Edited to add* There was several spiders in several locations of the hotel. Not so much where you would totally freak out——but definitely something you’d notice.

I'm staying at this hotel soon. Stayed there several times 1998 -used to be good. Went to nasty 2021? Love the location and the deck. And hope they have enough workers to clean. Last visit help clean room. It's better than DUI and a night in a town to do everything.😁 Plus taxi's. So I pray its clean this time.!!! For I can give a good review.🙏😇

Needs major renovation. Parking lot trashy, everything needs power washed outdoors. Jet tub outdated, pillows are like cotton balls. Breakfast is a joke... muffins are the size of a quarter. Thank God there's a Big Boy next door. Pool nasty. Not going back.

I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Upon entering the room, I was immediately struck by a strong smoke smell, despite the hotel being advertised as non-smoking. The smell was so bad our belongings smelled of smoke when we checked out this morning. The cleanliness of the room, its smell, the dirt on the floor in the bathroom, under the table, side tables & outside of the hotel was a significant issue. There were mayflies everywhere inside and outside the building in the windows and corners, which made the stay very uncomfortable. Additionally, I noticed spiders and spider webs in various corners of the room, indicating a lack of proper cleaning and maintenance. This level of cleanliness is unacceptable and made me question the overall hygiene of the hotel. This was extremely unpleasant and set the tone for the rest of my stay. The presence of insects, blood or fecal matter on the hand railings and the smoke smell greatly impacted my stay, making it difficult to relax and enjoy my time at the hotel. I would not recommend Quality Inn to anyone seeking a clean and comfortable environment. The management needs to address these issues promptly to ensure a better experience for future guests. Overall, I was very disappointed with my stay and will not be returning to Quality Inn.

A guest has filed a complaint with the below details: First Name: deborah Last Name: young Email ID: ********************** Phone No: ********** Confirmation No: ********* Check In: 2024-08-02 Check Out: 2024-08-05 Message: i was there on a vacation with my husband on friday august 2… we left monday aug 5th 2024 . i accidentally left a purple romper in the room ! i called monday as soon as i noticed. i got the run around every day from the quality inn port clinton ! everyday they said a manager would call me, just kept putting me off , said they don’t have my item! … no one ever followed up ! the staff was less then helpful .. i’m asking for the staff that cleaned the room to be charged with theft & i also want it reimbursed financially to me ! this is a formal complaint! i will take this to the bbb if i have to ! please respond with answers about my item . NO ONE IS HELPING ME .. I’m getting very frustrated with the run around ! Please help!
