NillI've never thought to stay at the Park Hotel, but we stayed here due to my teenage daughter's interest in the haunted history at PIB. I was leery with the small, 2 person occupancy rooms and hallway bathrooms, but it worked out very well. Rooms were tidy and the bathrooms were very clean (and updated). To top it off, the staff was fantastic. We encountered 3 different ladies at the front desk during our stay and all 3 were personable, very friendly and helpful. I'd definitely stay here again. (I did not witness any ghostly activity, but the 2 teens with me, who stayed in room 24, said that they did 😉😂)

NillWe found our new spot!! Just stayed at HP with my sister last weekend and it was everything we hoped for and more! The location is perfection. Right in the middle of everything, but once you step inside you’re surrounded by the calm and quiet comfort that is Historic Park. All of the employees were wonderful & so welcoming! There was an issue with our room when we arrived, but Erin(sp?) fixed it right away. Erin in general was an absolute delight and we can’t wait to see her and HP again next year!

NillUnfortunately my wife and I did not stay at this hotel but did not have a pleasant customer service experience. I booked the hotel a week ago for my wife and I to have some time away, since she was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. We have young ones and wanted some time together prior to her surgery. Unfortunately our babysitter arrangements fell through and we asked about our children 3 and 5 being able to stay with us. We were told by Aaron that was against policy and we would lose our $214 deposit. We had to book with Grand Islander Hotel so our children could be with us and we were able to have some form of getaway prior to surgery. I understand policies and it’s sad that such a policy had no flexibility based on the circumstances. I do hope the owners take time to read this and install some form of flexibility in their policy for future guests. We will not be a future guest and will be sure to share our poor experience. NillThis was our first time staying back at the Park since ~2019. We were so impressed by the change of the bathrooms! There are now a handful of private toilet/shower rooms for each floor. They were SO clean throughout our whole stay. We had a queen room on the 3rd floor, very clean and bed was actually comfortable for PIB! The air conditioning worked perfectly and every room also had a ceiling fan. They have coffee and pastries in the morning. The location is perfection, you don’t need a golf cart but if you wanted one, it’s only $50/day to rent from the front desk. All the workers at the front desk were so kind during our stay. With being in the middle of town and right above the round house, I was worried about noise but we didn’t notice a thing! My only recommendation is to have a water bottle filling station in the lobby! There is one out by the chicken patio, but after they close down for the day you are out of luck. We won’t stay anywhere else!

NillAwesome, fabulous, incredible. This hotel is so cute. Carrie at the desk is so friendly. I saw her welcome everyone who came in and offer advice on where to go and how to get around. She really seems to love her work. Housekeeping does an amazing job. The bathrooms are literally sparkling clean. Location is perfect. You don’t even need a golf Cart if you stay here. Rooms are super clean, fresh and Island quaint. Jordan has done a great job as the new owner. Thanks Park Hotel!

★★★★Let's get the one big drawback out of the way first; this Hotel is 150 years old (Happy B-Day in 2023), so there are no Bathrooms in the individual Guest Rooms. There are 7 separate Individual Bathrooms on the 2nd Floor, and 6 on the 3rd Floor. That being said, Management has done an Outstanding job to minimize the inconvenience. A recent renovation has yielded shiny new bathrooms, complete with Shampoo/Conditioner/Body Wash Dispensers in the Showers. Hair Dryers are also included. I was EXTREMELY IMPRESSED with the job done by the Cleaning Crew during my 3-Nite Stay. The Bathrooms were Sparkling each day (when I was the first guest in), Paper Towels and Toilet Paper amply restocked, and the Shower Dispensers always at least 1/2-Full. Complimentary Bathrobes are provided, so no matter how you choose to sleep, you can throw on the robe and discreetly TCB in the middle of the nite. You can even purchase the robe should you want a souvenir ($50 I think?). A few of the bathrooms were a little on the small side, but still more than adequate. I stayed in Room# 10 on the 2nd Floor, overlooking Pasquale's on Loraine Ave . I found it very comfortable in size, with ample Closet and Drawer space. Two drawbacks for some people (not for me) were the absence of a Television and Phone. In the 21st Century, we pretty much all have Cell Phones, and I don't Vacation in Put-in-Bay to watch TV (I can pretty much pull up what I need on my I-Phone, anyways). If there was one minor drawback it was that there were only 2 outlets in the room, neither adjacent to the bed. One was where the A/C was plugged in; the other was on the wall opposite the bed, next to a small table with a vintage lamp. It had 3-plug adapter, with the lamp plugged in to one. I found it inconvenient to charge my Phone there, but was easily able to charge up my phone in a Bathroom Outlet each morning while I showered & washed up. There was enough shelf space in the Bathroom where this was not in the way. The staff was amazing! As I said, Housekeeping (which appeared mostly to be college aged) were dressed in Summer Uniforms (matching polos & shorts). Very polite & did a great job. Front Desk Staff was 5-Star! I dealt mostly with Lisa, who was such a Sweetheart! Polite, Helpful, and made sure all my needs were taken care of. I would rate the Hotel 5 Stars overall if not for the Bathroom situation, but like I said, they have done the absolute best they can with this. Besides, likely because of this and the absence of TV's/Phone's, it is one of the best Lodging Bargains on the Island. Conveniently adjacent to the Red Moon Speakeasy and Round House Bar (including Chicken Patio). I have separate recommendations on these establishments. I would definitely recommend giving them a try, especially if you are on a budget. A Coupon may also be available on the Miller Ferry website, though I cannot guarantee this will continue in 2024.

NillSuper charming Victorian hotel in the dead center of Town literally steps from everything. Outside the front door is a bar to the left and to the right is a place that sells fresh grilled chicken. You don't have to leave the property for food and drinks! Attached to the hotel is the historic Roundhouse bar if you want a more lively bar with live entertainment. My favorite hidden within the hotel, the Red Moon, a speakeasy with dim red lighting antique furniture that plays a fun mix of jazz and swing. They stayed open till 2:00 and served charcuterie boards and the mood and the vibe of the whole place was amazing. If you've been to Put-in-Bay you know finding a nice quiet little bar is difficult. That is why this place was so magical and the bonus was I just had to walk upstairs at the end of the night. The hotel rooms were simply furnished in antiques, no TVs or bathrooms in the room. I thought this was going to be an issue but every floor has an entire hallway of about six or seven restrooms. Each fully equipped with sink toilet and shower. There was always more than one available so this was better than having an ensuite room because both myself and my partner could shower at the same time in separate bathrooms. The beds were very comfortable, there was coffee in the lobby in the morning, sometimes danishes, And you can sit on the front porch or on the patio where there are a bunch of covered tables that also are for the bar and the grilled chicken place and look out at the park and the harbor beyond. I would highly recommend this place.
