Hilton Garden Inn Corvallis

I stayed 8/20/24-8/21/24 for a seminar at the OSU campus. The location of the hotel is very convenient and I felt very safe in the hotel and area around the hotel. The rooms are decent and the beds are comfortable. The biggest problem I had was while getting breakfast the morning I was checking out (we paid for breakfast when we booked the room). The breakfast was what you would expect from a hotel. Eggs, potatoes, sausage, oatmeal, cereal, breads, fruit, yogurt, coffee and various fruit juices. I asked the attendants if I could just get a plate or if I needed to sit down and order (it's set up like a resturant). The female attendant was a little rude and just said it was a buffet style and It cost $15 to eat. I let her know I had it included in my stay and she said I would need to use my "ticket" which we were not given when we checked in. The male attendant let me know I could go to the front counter to get it, which I did. I went to my room to get my colleague so we could eat together before we checked out. We come back after about 5 minutes and handed ticket to the male attendant and the female attendant let's us know where the plates are. We get some food (with the female attendant watching us closely the entire time) and go to sit down. After about 30 seconds of me sitting down, the female attendant comes over with a bill and sticks it on the table. I thought maybe it was some kind or receipt and look at it a couple minutes later. It's a bill for $30 dollars, I stare at it for a moment before the male attendant runs over to take it away. The female is just staring the entire interaction. Did not apologize for her miscommunication at all. The male attendant was fabulous and welcoming, the female was very rude and did not make us feel welcome. I understand miscommunication, but she didn't even ask us before putting the bill down. I personally told her I had it included with my room and I would be back with this ticket. It's not like there were tons of people eating, there and she was overwhelmed. There was maybe 3 or 4 other tables of 2 or less people at them.

Convenient location with clean rooms, comfy beds and pillows. The food and drinks at the hotel restaurant/bar are tasty. The staff at both the hotel and restaurant are fantastic!!

The lobby was clean and inviting but when I walked up to register the staff could barely muster a hello. $10 for parking is insane. The room was so so. It had a weird smell that I couldn’t pin point. $317 on a Friday night for a 3 star hotel left a bad taste in my mouth and I won’t be back. Yes it’s convenient to the campus but that’s it. Avoid.

I spent a couple of days here and couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. The staff is very helpful and the rooms spacious and comfortable. I wish the elevators were a bit closer to the lobby but I guess that adds a bit extra security to the property. There’s tons of parking available and the hotel is located within walking distance from various points of attraction at OSU.

Nice hotel with fairly modern feeling. I was disappointed that they have made servicing the room every second day standard. The location is very convenient walking distance to the OSU campus and especially the football stadium. The breakfast buffet for $14 isn’t terrible, but resembles what really should be a complimentary breakfast in such a hotel. At $300 per night, I would not choose to stay here again unless being so close to campus was really important to me.

Stayed for 6 days. Nice hotel with friendly staff. Had some definite problems. We put a privacy (no clean) tag on our door for one day only. No cleaning at all the whole visit. Had to ask to have towels dropped off. The air conditioner was very loud - off and on all night. Had to pay $10.00 per day for parking. I’m sorry but Corvallis??? It is next door to OSU but still. Breakfast was also not included. I’ll look elsewhere next time.

Wonderful hotel with great location. The breakfast staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and well taken care of. Even the cook had a delightful greeting to all who he comes in contact with. I would definitely come back to this hotel in the future.

I came here for my daughter’s orientation. We came the night before the orientation to avoid an early morning drive in from portland. I wish I could say it was a good idea. The room we had was nice but the ac was SO LOUD we couldnt sleep. I would turn it off for some quietness but we would all be up again because it would be hot. There was no win. Didnt complain bc we were there only one night but dang, we were exhausted the whole day the next day from the lack of sleep. I wish I could post the video of the noise, it was soo loud😭.
