I can't speak for the hotel because we had an issue with our dog accommodations and had to turn back. I do want to say though the staff I spoke with was friendly, and helpful. I wasn't able to make them aware until 2 hrs after my check in time, and it was the weekend of the Ducks/Huskies game so they could have charged me at least a cancelation fee, but they gave me a full refund. We were already in a bind so I appreciated their kindness, and understanding.

My vacation was utterly ruined by this establishment. Needing to book a room at the last minute, I spoke with Sam at the front desk, who arranged our stay. However, upon arrival, we were informed of an additional $200 deposit required on top of the total cost—a detail that was never communicated during booking. Had we known, we would have chosen not to visit Eugene, as we were traveling with very limited funds. Another property explained this policy was implemented due to local guests causing significant damage to the rooms. Having managed a hotel in Lake Tahoe, I can attest that I never imposed such deposits on our guests. This one-star review is meant to warn future travelers about this hidden fee and spare them from similar disaster. Adding to our frustration, no viable solution was offered, nor was there any suggestion to speak to the manager for assistance. We have a history of exceptional stays at numerous establishments, and this experience was a stark departure from that. Ultimately, we were forced to abandon our plans and continue our drive home, all due to this property’s failure to communicate their unreasonable policies.

The front desk staff were amazing, especially the one with the rainbow framed glasses. The room was clean and well maintained for the price point and even came with an additional heavy weight fleece blanket and pillows for extra comfort. Great stay.

1.) Run down, overpriced rooms. 2.) Many things in the room need repair and look dated. 3.) Parking spaces are tight. 4.) Internet is 1970's SLOW. I tested 4.3 MBS the next hotel I stayed in was 245 MBS. No excuse for SLOW WIFI. 5.) Location is good. Downtown. However it's on a busy, noisy street.

Chris at the front desk was super nice and helpful. The management here is professional and compassionate, I can’t thank them enough! I had a complication with my booking and they worked with me and Xpedia to get it all sorted. Very decent people- the kind that I want to see succeed.

Nice place to stay if you are just needing something affordable and a comfy bed. The room was clean and stocked, staff very, very friendly and helpful. The breakfast wasn't much but for the price I didn't expect much. If I had one complaint it would be the narrow parking spaces on the back side but perhaps that was due to some city ordinance? I would have no problem staying there again.

Watch the room deposit. You get it back, but takes awhile. Pet friendly rooms. They only have a few, so request in the beginning.

I will use this hotel again. Clean rooms, comfy beds, and the staff was very nice. Very easy parking and good location!
