Super 8 by Wyndham Ontario

This was worst motel experience I've ever had. Kids slept in coats fully cloth so did my old man and me. Tile off behind toilet so wind came blowing through. 2 inch gaps between door. Had to change rooms no hot water. Only good thing was desk clerk was very nice and apologetic. Will NEVER stay at this place again, I'd rather take and pitch tent!!

The property is very clean & quite, which I appreciate immensely! I like the appearance that the hotel has on the property, it has a charm to it! Cable & Internet No Interruptions, Water Pressure Great & Hot! Towels were White & Smelled Wonderful, Room was to expectations!

Courteous staff. The pillows were perfect, the room was clean, everything worked, nice fridge & microwave. Dog friendly, with a nice fenced grassy area for my furry companion. And a breakfast. All at a good rate. I would definitely stay here again.

Do not stay at this facility. The moment we checked I did what I usually do in a hotel room as a former employee. I give them an inspection for cleanliness and proper function. The beds were very comfortable, the linens were clean and properly fitted. However the toilet had a pubic hair and feces in the toilet seat, the light bulbs were dust as were the tops of door frames. The HVAC sounded like it had a squirrel and two raccoons fighting to the death in it all night. The filter was disgusting. There were obvious cracks in the ceiling and the building seems to have shifted to such an extent the bathroom door could barely close. There was a space about an inch in size at the top of the bathroom door. The microwave was not as clean as it could be. There was grime along most of the baseboards and on the grout on the tub. The light bulb in the light by the left bed was not screwed in and the small night light next to the right bed was broken. The drawers in the TV stand were filthy with quite a bit of dirt in some of them. We arrived late and were very tired so we just slept and left. I've included as many photos as possible. While I generally try to stay at Super 8 when it's an option, I'm certainly rethinking that now. This room should NOT be rented out again without significant maintenance and cleaning.

The motel is well kept up. The room was very comfortable. The staff was friendly as always. I have stayed here many times in the last few years. There was a limited continental breakfast. Restaurants are nearby. There is a pool during the summer.

This place is next to the truck stop in a run-down part of town. When I arrived, the room was 85 degrees inside and didn't smell good. Turned on the A/C and that added another layer of sour smell. The furniture was covered with a sticky film I could scrape off with my fingernail. and the floor creaked as I moved in the room. If I wanted to use the microwave, I’d have to unplug the refrigerator from it’s extension cord and plug-in the microwave instead. This is an L-shaped motel, my room was on the inside of the corner. There was a bright light facing my window and the curtains didn't cover enough of the window to block out the light. The thick, hard bed pillows were small square things about half the size of an ordinary pillow. I slept with ear-plugs and the A/C on to cover the noise of the TV in the next room that was on all night long. I left before 7am so I can't tell you what the "grab-and-go" breakfast amounted to.

It was clean and quiet. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was not smelling of overused fresh air scent. I have used the Super 8 by Wyndham across Canada and in the USA. I trust them and will always look for Super 8 by Wyndham to stay in. Thank you for a great night sleep

2 ladies at the front desk were very nice. Clean. Fair price. Quieter than expected. It's a freeway motel, nothing is ever perfect. Ac worked great. Already booked another night for the return trip since everything went well.
