More than likely stolen property by management I had a mental health emergency due to an legal substance I bought a store that was clearly not what it was advertised as . I calmly asked for guidance down the stairs. They went behind my back and checked me out than and there without communication or a notice. I had serval items in the room missing. Management originally said nothing was reported found. One of these items happen to be kind of awesome. Something you would tell you're co worker you found. Than likely it wouldnt of been brought up in conversation is unlikely. You would of told your co worker about it. Argo it was stolen by management. Management was the one to clean the room. Upon addressing my room once I had came back to check out another room they refused service and told me everything was tossed. My charger, hoodie , 20$ tooth paste and my martial arts tool for my dojo. They went from saying nothing was found to everything was tossed. (Without telling your co worker the other man I spoke with about the contents of the room really) I'm a common customer one of a only few and they stole my items, showed little compassion in a mental health crisis and refused service though it wasn't needed as a fool would. They also seemed prideful in refusing service which was kind of rude. The man who told me no was very proud to have told me no.

Took a video of my place, showed the front desk. They gave my deposit back. Come back to check in and room service said it was terribly damaged. Bull shit, you hire tweeks. Due was hanging out in 307 all night the last couple nights

Price for the location makes this spot worth it. Rooms are a dive and there's a bar downstairs. Other clientele is working class to homeless. If this doesn't bother you, the price is right. Ask about weekly rates. No wifi! Rooms with no view and a shared bathroom are a bit cheaper than other similar hotels downtown.

Solo getaway into the city and pleasantly surprised by this quaint little hidden gem I had probably walked past many times before without noticing. The room was very large, clean, and the manager was extremely friendly and helpful. Couldn’t ask for a better location for nightlife! Easy walk to transit or most places and hot spots in downtown Portland night life.

It was one of a kind because this is a superb way to get a good enough sleep。 Who knew one would look for something of this nature when I am wanted in my own bed that I felt it necessary to try it out. Sleep, I doubt, was the priority here, but none the less it accommodated well. Even though it broke yet another piece to fall away, perhaps I'll understand or shatter it.

Me and a close friend spent about 5 months in a room together which we made ours with a few simple changes and I'll say, we really enjoyed the simple and how much character the place had, it's so easy to get banned, which unfortunately happened to me when I had stayed a night and when I had left my other guest had gotten a bit to intoxicated and made a scene. I would still be a frequent guest if I was aloud to. I gave it 3 stars because of how hard lined they are with the rules and banning people. I don't blame them or have an I'll will towards them, just can't give them 5 stars because I'm all kinds of heartbroken

Just no.. umm just no. This is a rent by the week joint run like it is an exclusive country club with extensive membership criteria... just no. It's not any cheaper than a budget super 8 or Motel 6 and just way more confusing... Lists of rules & regulations longer than a parolee would get after 20 years behind the wall!! Just no no no. Do not try to talk your inner cheapskate into thinking this is a historic experience because it is not that. Just no no no no no. You can however rent a box fan that has seen better days for a mere dollar a night. Bump the rate up to $86 and thrown in the fan guys- its petty. That is all.

This place is not for everyone. But its perfect for me. Affordable, centrally located, smoker friendly and a place to sleep. Our room was no cleaner than your average hotel, and cleaner than a few I've stayed at on this trip for half the price. Built in 1908, and located downtown, the halls and rooms tell a story you'd expect to hear in Portland. For the weary traveler on a budget, who would rather grab a local bite for breakfast over the continental offered at a chain, try out the Georgia. Keep in mind the rooms are simple, some without bathrooms, no mini fridges, but if you want a cold beer you can walk to dozens of historic bars within a mile. The cherry on top, of all the characters I met in this town the manager, Chuck, was my favorite, such a nice guy. Maybe don't bring the kids, or the in-laws, but a pair of party shoes and an open mind. I loved the Georgia!
