NillThe Fireside is an Oregon Coast favorite of mine, being 1-1/2 hours from Eugene. I have visited and enjoyed many times. They have maintained their property through the years, improving and keeping it fresh and comfortable. The rooms are not as fancy as the Overleaf next door, but you can get a beautiful room with oceanfront property for a fraction of what you'd pay at comparable locations along the entire West Coast. It is a treasure for unwinding and spending a cozy weekend no matter what the weather decides to do. It doesn't matter.

★★★★★Fabulous! Rented the 2 bedroom which was amazing. Comfortable beds, heated floor in bathroom, full kitchen, dining area, comfortable couched, fireplace, tv and the view all along a beautiful walking trail. Also, for the holidays if you brought canned goods to donate you got a discount! What a great way to help the community. Staff in shop/ lobby were super nice. Shop had great gifts items. And the trail, sunset view right outside was perfect. Also, a little bit from town, maybe a mile, so very quiet! Would love to stay here again.

NillWe've stayed at the Fireside Hotel twice in the past few years. Sitting on our second floor balcony, only a few feet from the crashing ocean waves was so awesome. Hearing the sea throughout the night was hypnotic and peaceful. The fireplace kept our room comfy and warm. The hotel is centrally located, making it a perfect base camp for exploring the Oregon coast. We plan on returning soon.

★★★★★The location is spectacular. There’s a great trail right out front along the coastline, Yachats is adorable, and the hotel has been redone recently enough. |The room had great little details that provide an extra something in a hotel but every hotel should have- a bathroom heater and nightlight, a coat rack, a tiny window that opens to hear the ocean better without freezing, |The staff was super nice and there is a cute local gift shop in the lobby. No breakfast is no problem because Yachats has options.

NillI know this is considered not a luxury or fancy hotel but this is hands down the most comfortable, cleanest and coziest hotel I’ve stayed in. And I’m a very picky person when it comes to cleanliness. Our room was right next to the beautiful ocean. We could hear the waves hitting the rocks all night long!! Check in was also easy and parking is free as well. Definitely come here again Heavy on the cleanliness part! Please keep your hotel running like this forever! I couldn’t believe my eyes. Even the pillows were so clean

NillVery nice motel! Simple room but very clean! Walls were thin so we could hear someone moving around in the adjacent room . The beach is right outside so we didn’t even need to book an oceanfront room! There’s a walkable beach trail on the property that leads right into Yachats! Would definitely recommend!

★★★★★When I hear "motel" rather than "hotel" I am typically a bit skeptical, but our stay at the Fireside Inn changed my perception. Our stay was perfect! The view is remarkable and just breathtaking. Couldn't get much better. It was very quiet...no outside voices or distractions, which made for a very peaceful and serene environment. The accommodations were clean...bathroom, linens, furniture...everything. The decor felt a bit outdated, but the style represented the outdoors vibe of the Oregon coastline very well. Convenient location to restaurants in Yachats and all of the beautiful parks along 101. Should our travels take us back, we would stay here again! Great value for the money spent.
