NillWorst stay at a Black Hills area hotel. Went to check, first room was out of order for months, reassigned to another room, was stripped bare, bed not even set up. Third was clean but two beds, wanted single, oh well. Elevators down. Beds so uncomfortable didn't sleep/woke sore, main floor reeked like stale vomit. Shower worked but no hot water in sink. Only pros: room was clean, and good location. Pool was drained, good thing I don't swim. Key card reader stopped working on door only halfway through stay, so I left. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY, car would've been more comfortable. Picture is second room assigned.

★★Positive: The young lady at the front desk was very pleasant and tried very hard to please the complaining patrons. Negative: The smell! It was horrible as you walked into the lobby! It smelled like a sewer line was leaking. Very bad! I would have asked for my money back but it was late and we just wanted to sleep and leave early in the morning! Our bathroom was not very clean.

NillExactly what you'd except from a budget off the road hotel. Everyone is very nice and super accommodating. Clean rooms and beds. Had no issues with cleaning smells or bad a/c (actually got too cold with the cold air on). A nice option in a beautiful town.

NillThe worst experience ever! Do not stay here! After being on the road all day we were both very tired, the horrible experience started! The room next to us sounded like they were running a daycare. Kids screaming at the top of their lungs, hitting the walls, absolutely no parental guidance. I understand “it’s a hotel and things happen”, I assumed the kids would quiet down after 11:00PM, NOPE! Still making the worse noise ever! Screaming! The adult that was watching (if you want to call it that), would put her trash outside the door. People are definitely living here. Broken down vehicles in parking lot. Elevator needs serious work, you feel like it’s either going to start falling or just stop. This place smells like fast food and dirty people! Enough to make you throw up. The rooms were filthy! We left as soon as we could get a couple hours of sleep and get out of there.

NillDo Not Stay Here! On its last legs. 2nd room, AC Did not work, toilet did not work properly, light in room did not work. Soap from previous guest still in shower, counter not cleaned well. Would not recommend this place. Main areas smelled. Breakfast is just cold cereal and some toast type items in a room with just two high top tables. If it was not so late in the day we would have moved on to another hotel and sacrificed our reservation. For what we paid I would have expected much better even in a tourist town.

NillFront desk service wasn’t there for a 24 hr service, went looking for the employees after 38 minutes then the manager, who was asleep in the back, came storming out from us waking him up by closing the office door, which we thought no one was there so we were going to leave from behind the desk and wait for the beast to wake from his slumber in his pjs. But he came out screaming at me and my fiancée, refusing to give us the key card to the room we had paid for online. Poor management, just called at 8 am this morning and there is still no answer from anyone at the desk. Horrible staff, horrible hotel. Don’t stay here unless you’re ought to wake the beast and be refused service.
