For the price, this worked well. If hot water doesn't come in the sink, switch to the cold water side. Nice hot water. If hot water is long in coming in the tub, just let it run for a good while. I was surprised and delighted that the water was actually hot enough for a soak, eventually. The bathroom can be pretty cold, so takes awhile for the cold tub to warm up. Refrigerator, micro, mini coffee maker is nice. Bed slept very well! Nice pillows, clean room and sheets. The thermostat on the heater is somewhat erratic. So adjusting was necessary. There is ample room except the bathroom vanity area is a wee bit crowded. Plenty of thick towels and washcloths. And Gideon Bibles in the drawers. May God Bless You for that! An attractive and relaxing atmosphere pervades the breakfast nook/sitting room combination. Good selection of teas and hot water in a pump. Hot food and orange juice available, including eggs and sausage. Very unusual, there was NO coffee. (Only in your room). But I smelled coffee coming through the air vent, early in the morning. An employee had a cup of something in hand, exiting the kitchen/ office area. Maybe if one would ask for coffee....? Carts for luggage and sleeping on the main floor, near to an exit door, made for ease of in and out. I would vote for this experience as very acceptable and convenient. One little concern was, smelling slight cigarette smoke coming through the vent and later that unmistakable smell of men's body wash...perhaps Old Spice. Smells tell me a lot. But yes...we appreciated a good night's rest...nice and clean...thank you!

Great room, great location, easy stay. 4 out of 5 years great place great location rooms are always clean and neat! The surrounding area has lots of fun things to do from the world's only Corn Palace to all the great eating establishments! And SODAK SPORTS is the best one stop shop in town! All the guns, gear and ammo one could use and easy licenses for the hunt!

Older motel. Chair was looking to be pretty dirty. Arm rests were dark from use and soil. Carpet was frayed between the bathroom and room. Bed was OK but the sheets and bathroom were clean. That’s all I wanted. Very noisy from neighbors letting their doors slam but that’s not necessarily the motels fault.

Right off the interstate, you'll find this value priced gem. Our king bedroom was enormous with a jacuzzi. Nice and clean. The bed was actually pretty comfortable. Breakfast was the same hot breakfast as others: scrambled eggs, sausage patties, cold cereals, selection of breads for toast, etc. Would stay again with more time to use said jacuzzi.

I could not get the jets on the whirlpool tub to work. I worked on it for over a half-hour, trying the two wall controls in every feasible manner. The attention I gave also meant I couldn't help but notice the dirtiness of the jets (even though they didn't work!) When I mentioned my disappointment at check-out, the young man helping me seemed argumentative. He kept telling me about the two wall switches, even as I told him EVERYTIME that I used both wall switches. I felt blamed. And I couldn't use the jets like I was looking forward to doing. Breakfast was nice. Some of the desk people were friendly.

Rooms were very clean and comfortable and front desk staff and staff were so very friendly and helpful. Recommend this hotel to everyone that is in the Mitchell area.

For the price range, we were very happy with this stay. Room was clean and comfortable, decent breakfast (hot sausage and biscuit gravy, etc), and really kind service. Shout out to the front desk worker (April? she was wearing a scoobydoo shirt); she gave us great service. We would recommend this place if you are staying in Mitchell.

This AmericInn exceeded my expectations. We stopped here on our journey across the country and the pool and hot tub were clean and towels were fully stocked. Pool is open until 10 PM and until 12 AM for adults (which was great as we checked in later and we booked here because of the pool and hot tub!). Rooms are a little outdated, but still clean! Staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend if stopping by for the Corn Palace which is only a 7 minute drive away.
